What was the scope of their involvement?

First, Digital Silk Road built our website using WordPress. We chose a template from the options they gave us. They also do our SEO and manage our paid advertising and social media campaigns. The team conceptualizes the ads and handles our Google My Business accounts. We’ve consulted with them on how to work with it, and they also outsource photo and video production for us.

Initially, they did the research for us. Then, they sent us the keywords, and we discussed them. Digital Silk Road has also mentioned us on some websites to get us more traffic and helped us with voice SEO. They continue to manage our paid advertising and video shooting.

What is the team composition?

We don’t work anymore with the person who built the website. However, we have someone for video and photo shooting, social media management, and paid advertisements, as well as an operational manager.

How did you come to work with Digital Silk Road?

They contacted us and offered their services. They offered us two extensive, free trials to show what they could do. We gained new leads and customers, and they made a difference on Facebook and Instagram. They also showed us their website portfolio, and we saw that they were a good company with good results. After two weeks, we decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $10,000–$11,000 up until now. Their management fee was $800 per month, and we’ve paid $6,000–$7,000 for paid advertisement.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2021, and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The first impact was with Google Maps and WhatsApp Maps. They created a Google My Business account and explained to us how to use it. Afterward, they helped us with the map system because our clients were using Waze to come here.

We also had an issue with the Instagram profile. They told us they had good digital connections with US companies, and our problem was solved after 4–5 working days. I’ve referred my friends to them, and they’ve solved almost every Instagram-related problem for them too.

Moreover, they’ve helped us a lot with influencer marketing. They contacted famous bloggers to promote our business, but they didn’t do it for management fees. They gave us the contact information, and then we made the deals with the influencers.

Overall, we’ve seen an increase in calls, and our website traffic has increased as well. We spend $100 per day on social media, and we’re getting 70% of our assets from it. Digital Silk Road has given us the best results, so we’re still working with them.

How did Digital Silk Road perform from a project management standpoint?

Although we initially planned to launch the website in 40 days, it took us 50 days. However, that was good enough, and they met deadlines. Their team sends Google Analytics reports at the end of the month. The reports show how many clicks we’ve got, the users’ age range, and more.

They use Trello, and we have access to it. We also use WhatsApp and Google Analytics.

What did you find most impressive about them?

First, they offered a free trial, which showed us that they knew what they were doing. They also have a partnership program with a Turkish company, so they have good marketing connections and access to Turkey’s market.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’re doing well. The only issue we’ve had was launching our website ten days late. The quality of their work and all other things are good; we don’t have any complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They deliver high-quality work and are experts in what they do. I don’t know about terms in digital marketing, but they take care of it. Additionally, they’ll give you a free day’s consultancy.
