I'm the VP of business development for Rare Patient Voice, a market research company that connects patients and caregivers with research opportunities.

What challenge were you trying to address with Feedback Systems, Inc.?

We were hoping to expand in two different areas. We wanted to increase our patient channel, where we recruit patients to participate in our studies, and we were hoping to increase our reach with new clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Feedback Systems helps us with several different things. In general, they’re posting on our social media channels and improving our SEO performance. 

To help us enhance our client outreach efforts, they’re working with us on LinkedIn. It’s a new project. We’re essentially using all the tools in their shed to increase our outreach knowledge and know where new clients might be. They've also done some paid advertisements on Facebook and a little on LinkedIn and Instagram.  

They’ve added keywords to our website, helping us get posted on other sites with high traffic and domain authority ratings. That way, people can reference us. Case studies have been added to the site, and they contain a lot of keywords. The team is also revising our site pages to target keywords that people are searching for, helping us draw more leads.

What is the team composition?

Around five people from Feedback Systems work with us. Some of them work on case studies, while others work on WordPress and similar things. We also communicate directly with Ron (Managing Partner).

How did you come to work with Feedback Systems, Inc.?

Ron reached out to me on LinkedIn, and he explained what they do. I thought it was interesting, and it seemed it was the right time to engage with them. Ordinarily, we’d go to events to recruit patients. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic, that wouldn’t be possible anymore.

We thought Feedback Systems’ services would be a nice way to fill that void. We’d be able to recruit patients and connect with new clients through their resources. As a result, we hired them after my direct contact with Ron.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent under $10,000 for their services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in July 2020, and the partnership is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since we started working with them, we’ve done very well as a company even in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. I can’t say that our success 100% tracks back to them, but they’re a part of it. While a lot of companies in our industry have been closing or laying off people, we’ve continued to grow, and that has been truly fortunate for us.

How did Feedback Systems, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

The Feedback Systems team has been amazing and responsive. We have a dashboard where we can check-in and see any information that we want to know about our project, and we know they’ve been efficient.

They send us informative monthly reports, and we have bi-weekly calls with Ron. Once a month, we have a call with the whole team. We may have a call in between those if other things come up or if we want to review or propose something else. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team is highly knowledgeable. There’s not a question that they can’t answer or help to clarify. I’m not knowledgeable about all these things, and that’s why we have Feedback Systems on board. They’re great at explaining things, such as how keywords make a difference and what a high domain authority site is — I didn’t even know this phrase existed. They help me understand the metrics that they’re looking at. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there are none. We’ve been highly satisfied, and they’ve been flexible. If something doesn’t work for us, we just swap it out with something else. There’s nothing I could say they could do better. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be very open about what your business is and what you’re trying to achieve through their services. Since Feedback Systems is helping us in two different areas, it was important for us to have initial calls and clarifications about what we do and how we do it. That gave them a good launchpad to know how they would work with us in the future.

Overall, Feedback Systems, Inc. did a good job. They were very helpful. Ron knows how to add that personal touch. Their team gives us special attention and cares about our business.

We use Google My Business, Semrush, and Google Analytics to keep track of metrics.

How did Feedback Systems, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very good at meeting deadlines.

I’m impressed with their close attention to detail.
