I am the owner of a coworking Cube8 also acting as advisor to various startups. As part of that Dianapps has been instrumental in developing a platform for one of our mentees who are working on a video review platform.

For what projects/services did your company hire DianApps, and what were your goals?

I contacted DianApps with an intent to develop a SaaS platform that create video campaigns & share the same across various social media platforms to get the user interaction. The team understood the requirement and delivered the work almost quickly within the said timeframe.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have been working with DianApps for quite a while now and trust me when I say this—It has been a great experience. The team developed a SaaS platform with accurate functionalities to cater the expected deliverables. Additionally, their team had all the technology that we required in developing the platform with tremendous knowledge and expertise in whatever we expected them to deliver.

The dedication of the team dynamic was up to the mark and did not involved the need for multiple iterations, they took care of the entire flow, including the visual aspects. To sum up, the scope of DianApps involvement was great.

DianApps and I have been working in the same co-working space, so we knew about the team since day one. Therefore, when my company decided to create an app—for the video reviews, finding the perfect team was quite clear and we didn’t need to wander as the popularity of the company is well-heard. We have seen DA grown from a 10-member team to 100+ with clients around the globe. They have what it takes to be a professional company. That is how we came to work with DianApps.

What is the status of this engagement?

Like we have mentioned above that it has been quite a while the company and us are working together, we still are working with them. The status of our engagement is, after developing the product, testing it via using various measures, we are finally going to be live soon.

How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?

At the initial development stage of platform, we use to have a lot of discussions regarding the features which we planned to develop. The team inputs after their research on various other similar platforms, our suggestions to the same & the dedication to build a better product led to the evolvement of our relationship. Their exceptional skill to deliver what they promise and been corporative is impressive which is yet another reason why we trust and have enhanced our relationship in the industry.

How did DianApps address the challenges that arose?

With the prompt approach and quick response to the feedback, the team always used to come up with something achievable. The same approach helped us to deal with the challenges that arose.

The team did not hesitate in overcoming the challenges while working overtime to deliver the best. There was not blockage in the development of the app as they were 24*7 available in case of any challenge occurrence. However, due to the team’s experience, we did not encounter much challenges.

Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.

Well, I am hoping for a positive response from the users once we go live. And I know the reach of the app is going to be tremendous as the work DianApps has delivered till now is up to the mark without any area of improvement.

How was project management handled?

Managing a project is a bit like completing a Rubik’s cube — you have to keep several elements of the project at the top of your mind, while also considering multiple different outcomes and how long the route to completion will take.

Along the way, you’re bound to hit some bumps in the road. With projects, some struggles are more common than others, including issues regarding scope, budget, communication, implementation, and more. But DianApps’ project management team did their job Exceptionally well.

We’ve been using JIRA for keeping a track of the tasks, along with the internal team communication. For quick communication, the channels like WhatsApp, phone call, email etc. were used.

Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?

The focus has always been towards the betterment of the product that is something which makes them stand out as the entire team works toward the same goal i.e providing the best to their clients. Their dedication and quick grasp of our requirements were great and well-appreciated. This is what I think set them apart for the other vendors.

In what specific areas can they improve?

None. They are good in everything they do.

What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours? 

One solution to all your needs—DianApps. They are very corporative, understands the client’s needs and perform exceptionally well in delivering the work as per your set expectation. I highly recommend the organization owners to leverage the company’s vast technical knowledge and create your own appealing app for your users today.

We spoke to several vendors, but ultimately talked to the CEO of DianApps and had the opportunity to interview folks that we would be working with.

We had a kickoff call where I explained the project and gave the designer info about the project. I then provided supporting documentation and product specs. We met twice weekly throughout the duration of the project so we could see progress and provide feedback.

My team worked directly one of the UI/UX designers on their team.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

At the end of the project, we had a beautiful prototype of our web app. We have started implementing it.

Our working relationship was great. Even though they were based in India, time zones weren't an issue by scheduling morning and evening calls.

We were impressed with their responsiveness and speed.

Halfway through the project, we implemented verbal confirmations of what would be completed by the next call and this worked well.
