Please describe your company and your position there.

At Xfuturum, we specialise in two things: proof-of-concept development & prototyping and helping companies reach their full technical potential by eliminating tech debt and creating holistic migration strategies. Once could say we bring startup experience to enterprise software.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire DGTLization?

On several projects that Xfuturum was involved in I saw that that the processes were not on par with the industry standards. Xfuturum has always been more focused on the technical side of things, but great software products are born not only through the code: having proper processes is of grave importance. After some negotiations, we'd bring DGTLization onboard to help with fixing the business processes.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We decided to work with DGTLization because I personally know the CEO - Olga, and I was fortunate to work with her in the past on other projects.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We worked on 3 separate B2B projects in Retail, Hospitality and IoT. For the first two, the involvement of DGTLization was limited to setting up proper business processes, training the client-side team and overseeing the migrations. For the third one, DGTLization developed the business strategy in resource management and business development, with Olga personally supporting and overseeing the execution of this strategy.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Most of the communication was going through Olga and her team of 2 business analysts. We also worked with Anastasia, the UX lead and the co-founder.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The first two projects were completed successfully with main results being the reduction in budget needed to operate. It was achieved through setting up proper processes, separating roles and training the client team. The number of missed deadlines went down, user satisfaction (the customers of our customers) went up, the teams were optimised. The third projects is still in development but our client is happy with the direction that it is going.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Even despite a significant timezone difference there were no issues in communication. If the deadlines for some particular features were not met, we and our clients have always been communicated that in advance.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It's definitely the expertise of Olga and her team, deep understanding of business pains and the problems that jeopardise the productivity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. Both us and our clients were extremely satisfied with the results.
