We hired Dextech Labs to design the user experience for our music streaming app. Their scope included building and designing all necessary pages for the various user personas on the platform. They were also responsible for delivering a complete UX design in Figma, including wireframes for each screen.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Dexec Labs ultimately delivered on what we had requested. While the project was not fully complete at handoff, we were able to successfully flesh out the vast majority of our ideas with their support. Throughout the process, they collaborated with us to work through key details and helped enhance the overall design of the app in meaningful ways. They completed the majority of the page designs and delivered the final wireframes as part of the handoff.

Their project management was effective, although the overall timeline extended beyond our original expectations. However, they maintained clear communication regarding any delays and were consistently responsive to our questions and requests. They were highly available throughout the project and demonstrated strong reliability, never missing a scheduled meeting.

Overall, Dextech Labs was excellent across nearly all aspects of the project. While we believe there was room for improvement in terms of speed and minimizing delays, as well as in maintaining a higher level of attention to detail, the overall experience working with their team was very positive.

The objective was to build a platform where agents/ brokers/ sellers can list their properties while proper buyers can discover new properties. Some of the important features included market insights, easy property listing, easy discovery, real-time communication, and alerts and notifications. This app was primarily catering to the Indian real estate market.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The application turned out to be very smooth and could support thousands of property listings. Also, it has smooth And secure payment process. We were able to on board more than 2000 users in just a few months. We are rapidly recovering the cost of development.

The project management was on point with Tapabrata leading the conversations. They also used excel and project management tools Like Jira To manage project expectations.

The delivery was slightly delayed as compared to the originally proposed timelines. However, some of the delay could be attributed to change orders and discovery of a few unknowns during the project. We were very satisfied with the response time of Tapabrata And the rest of the team. Although I was based out of US, they were able to provide support during my morning and afternoon time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The thing that I found impressive about the team was constant communication maintained by Andy and Tapabrata Throughout the process. I am a great believer of clear communication as it helps set the right expectations for a project. The thing that I found really unique about the team was their flexibility to accommodate a good amount of rework without complaining. Also, that turnaround time with the designs is really top notch.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Dextech Labs could have done differently?

While some of the team members are very good at communicating, a couple of designers and developers could improve upon their communication to fast track any discussion.
