Be GLAD partnered with Devoq Design to successfully complete a comprehensive website refresh aimed at aligning our site with the evolving needs of our business. The project focused on improving the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), particularly to enhance the effectiveness of selling our online training products.
The newly designed website not only caters to both desktop and mobile users but also features streamlined navigation, a seamless post-purchase process, and a user-friendly platform for educators to easily access and engage with our high-quality content. This refresh effectively reflected our shift from in-person to online training services.
Key deliverables included an engaging new homepage that significantly boosted conversion rates, an optimized training products page that presents and sells our training courses more clearly, and the integration of our sister company, Uplevel, into the platform.

That said, this was a relatively minor point. The team was highly responsive, open to feedback, and delivered excellent results, so it did not affect the overall success of the project.

Since our project is a very technical, industry-specific project, the series of discovery meetings was longer than usual. This certainly wasn't a problem as Devoq needed to understand the details before continuing. Once these meetings were complete, Devoq provided many iterations of the product, each one better than the previous!

Lastly, they provided us "working" components of the product; actual HTML/CSS components, not just a set of images of how it should look. This allowed us to accelerate the progress of the project exponentially!

Before we could develop our product, we needed mockups, designs, and workflows. After contracting them, we started with a discovery phase where we worked through our problem and direction for the product and MVP. From there, we introduced their UX designer onto the team, working with them and the CEO on the wireframe design process. Based on those wireframes, we continued to ideate and tweak flows as needed. 

We weren’t through usability tests and were able to convert everything into high-fidelity mockups. At this point, we’ve moved through the design phase but haven’t started with development yet. We’ve collaborated through Figma and Google Suite tools. The mockups will be applied to both a web and mobile application.
