What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

DevIT has successfully developed and published our app on the Shopify App Store on the first submission attempt (with only one minor bug fix required during the review). Key measurable outcomes include:Before the app, our procurement process was entirely manual — reviewing each order individually, cross-referencing SKUs across multiple orders in spreadsheets, and calculating purchase quantities by hand. For a typical batch of 100+ orders with 500+ SKU variants, this could take several hours.With the app, the same process now takes minutes. Specific improvements include:Regarding order accuracy, the two main error types we dealt with before the app were over-purchasing and missed orders.Over-purchasing happened because we had no centralized way to track surplus inventory from previous buying rounds. If we bought 10 units but only needed seven, those extra three would get lost in the process, and we'd end up buying them again next time. The app's Surplus Stock feature now tracks these automatically and deducts them from future purchase quantities.Missed orders were the other issue — when manually reviewing dozens of orders, it was easy to overlook one or forget to tag it as purchased. The app's automatic order tagging ensures every order is accounted for and marked correctly as Purchased or Partially Purchased, so nothing slips through.Since using the app, we haven't had a single instance of duplicate purchasing or a missed order during procurement.

How did DevIT perform from a project management standpoint?

DevIT's project management is excellent. Communication is responsive and transparent throughout the project. If I raise an issue or request on a business day, they address it the same day. Olha (Project Manager) keeps everything organized with clear documentation and progress tracking across each phase.The initial development phase has been delivered within the estimated timeline. When I later requested a UX improvement phase with 10 specification items, the developer completed all of them in just two days. When Shopify flagged a bug during the app review, the team identified the root cause, fixed it, tested it, and deployed it within the same day — which allowed us to respond to Shopify immediately and get approved on the next review pass.Overall, they consistently meet or beat their time estimates.

What did you find most impressive about them?

This is my first time hiring a development team to build an app — it's my first time doing anything like this, honestly. Despite that, DevIT has made the process feel manageable. They have been professional from the very first conversation, set clear expectations with detailed proposals and project charters, and they consistently deliver on what they promise.What impresses me the most is how they handle pressure moments. When I came to them with a detailed UX improvement spec late in the project, they gave me a fair estimate within hours, offered a goodwill discount, and their developer completed everything in two days. When Shopify found a bug during the review, the fix was deployed the same day. That kind of responsiveness gives me real confidence as a first-time product owner.I had high expectations going in, and they have met them.

Time based and cost, Both were very accuratly estimated by Devit. The overall design and funtionality were almost identical to what was asked of them.
