We're a startup company and needed to design and build our platform from scratch.

How did you select Designs Done Better and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through Facebook from one of our groups. Designs Done Better was the only company that was able to meet all of my conditions, stay within my budget limits, and promised reasonable product delivery.

After the meeting to discuss our goals and objectives, the team designed mockups and wireframes. And after some revisions, once the design was fully approved they started developing it. We were aware of the technologies and they used PHP on our request so we can scale the platform down the road as well.

We finished the project, and we loved the overall deliverables. Our team members are sure we will get amazing results.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked at various companies and were eventually referred to Designer Websites by someone we had a meeting with about business development. They were competitive on the price and we were confident in what they could do.

The project was travel website that offers flexible ski holidays and international travelling as well. We wanted something different as everyone because we already had a website but was not up to the standards.

There were 5 in total, the CEO, project manager, 2 backend engineers and rest frontend developer and designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

So the visitors incoming was better and our inhouse team was amazed by the overall outlook.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was quick and easy to communicate. Not only him but the CEO himself was directly looking into the things. Everything was delivered on time as it was promised.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We see it as more of a partnership than just a development job. They were keen to work with us and attentive to my input while making sure the solution works and that it is suitable from a business point of view. They’ve been really good to us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We’re in the middle of testing the beta version that they just finished. Within 2 or three days, there won’t be much on the site that we’re not happy with. They just spent the last few weeks rectifying any issues.

We needed extra hands with the eCommerce web development, from design to complete development and maintenance.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We interviewed a number of competing agencies in eCommerce development. We were looking for somebody in the EST time zone as my team is mostly available at the same time. We wanted a developer that could join our team as if he was part of it from day one, removing all possible bureaucratic and intermediate processes. We were looking for an agency that is easy, reliable and budget friendly.

After meeting and discussion, we requested to see design mockups and wireframes. It was approved on the second step. The team was quick to start the work on the development and they used PHP to develop the whole model.

Total of 4, two backend engineers and one for the frontend and a project manager.

We were able to start a new phase for the product, which included its full development. This allowed our team to move faster for our in-house process.

Daily meetings with the project manager for updates. We used Jira for communication. Loved their communication.

They had in-depth experience in developing all kinds of sites. They also had very good communication skills.

I really did not find anything like this.

We wanted user friendly smooth website where studio vendors can visit and sign up with us.

We were looking for website developers online and found them and after interviewing 3 we selected Designs Done Better.

After the discovery it was decided that there will be two phases for the whole project. We wanted studio vendors to sign up through easy process with best user experience.

Initially we spoke with Abdul M. (CEO) and then there were 2 individuals who were project manager and other business analyst for the whole project.

We recently finished the website and received some vendors and we believe we will get more vendors down the road.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We were getting frequent updates by their project manager and business analyst. Also we provide them quick responses to finish this as early as possible.

I was impressed with the solutions they provided us

We are manufacturers and whole sellers for garments in the States. Due to pandemic the team wanted to create their own stores so we can make sales online via automated system.

Our goals were to have a system which is connected with our warehouse that counts stock and can reflect into our new basic website which will sell directly to the new retail customers.

Designs Done Better was referred by one of our employees.

We did a video consultation and all pain points were discussed. After 2 video sessions we were glad that these are the guys we will be working with because they created the proposal for us which was very easy and helpful.

We worked with 2 individuals to get updates from them. One was the CEO Abdul M. and the other was assigned technical project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our customers loved the user interface and smooth system for placing orders and checkout, we also offers bulk products so it was important for us as we were not only targeting single orders but bulk order too.

We worked with them on teamwork. We were informed in advance if there were any delays about to occur.

They are a small team but their communication skills and patience are amazing. They were very responsive to our many emails which we were sending in bulk.

I really don't find any rooms for improvement.
