I’m the marketing manager of Amara Energy. We provide liquid fuel import, storage, and distribution services, specializing in midstream operations within Africa's energy sector.

We hired Dawnconcepts for full market turnkey consulting services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Dawnconcepts has been responsible for digital marketing, ESG reporting, brand management, and marketing strategy. The team has delivered ESG quarterly reports, a corporate website design, corporate marketing asset design and printing, exhibitions, and brand activation.

We started working with Dawnconcepts in January 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

For the exhibition shows, we received a lot of compliments for our stand and won a prize. We also closed three major deals that gave us the return on our investment. In total, we’ve earned 500 million ZAR (approximately $27 million USD) from those deals.Moreover, our website looks better than the legacy one. Dawnconcepts has managed to make our report lean and effective through their design concepts. We’ve received positive client feedback.

How did Dawnconcepts perform from a project management standpoint?

We started off close, which was due to us not providing material briefs and budgets on time. However, once we had the wheels turning, the management was seamless. Dawnconcepts uses modern communication tools to effectively correspond and get things done. We communicate through in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and emails or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Dawnconcepts’ strategy and great work culture are impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could manage time more effectively, especially limiting working over weekends.
