I usually work with a small number of clients at any one time so each project gets proper senior attention. Depending on the scope, this is typically around 3-6 active clients, with additional one-off audits, tracking fixes or consultancy projects scheduled around that.

My onboarding process is deliberately straightforward. First, I’ll review the enquiry, the website and any immediate context around the project. If it looks like a good fit, we’ll arrange an initial call to discuss objectives, current issues, timelines, platforms, tracking setup and any known constraints. From there, I’ll confirm the recommended scope, costs and next steps. Once agreed, I’ll request access to the relevant tools, such as GA4, Google Search Console, GTM, CMS, ecommerce platform, Looker Studio or crawl data, depending on the project. I’ll then complete an initial review, confirm priorities, and begin work with clear communication around findings, actions and any support needed from the client or their developers.

Turnaround depends on the scope, but most standalone audits, tracking reviews or optimisation projects can usually be completed within 1-3 weeks once access is in place. Smaller consultancy tasks or tracking fixes may be turned around faster, while larger migrations, ecommerce audits or projects involving developer coordination will be scoped with a clear timeline before work begins.

I usually collaborate directly with clients by email, shared documents, task lists and scheduled calls where useful. The process is practical and transparent: I’ll outline what I’m reviewing, document findings clearly, prioritise actions, and work with the client or their developers to get fixes implemented properly. For agency or developer-led projects, I’m also comfortable working as a specialist support partner in the background, providing audits, QA, tracking guidance, migration checks or implementation notes as needed.
