The company does CBD extraction and manufacturing. As part of the company, I build and design operations as well as help with operation management.

What challenge were you trying to address with Data Driven Design, Inc.?

Our business challenge was to transform our existing website from a B2B website to a B2C website as our needs pivoted.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Data Driven Design helped us identify the demographics that we wanted to target and then came up with solutions to make a website that would appeal to those demographics. Their team launched our new web address and made significant structural changes to our original platform’s appearance and information flow. Their team helped with our labels and packaging designs too.

Now, Data Driven Design manages the website and its continuous modification. Their team handles our affiliate marketing campaign and SEO initiatives too. They also handle social media posts and blog writing.

We’re currently in touch with Aaron (Software Engineer) but he has a team behind him too.

How did you come to work with Data Driven Design, Inc.?

We worked with a different developer on our B2B website but weren’t satisfied with their deliverables. A former employee of ours began the discussion with Data Driven Design, and then we started to communicate with Aaron.

How much have you invested with them?

For their digital marketing services, we spend around $3,500 a month. There’s always the option to upgrade or downgrade our plan, which is really nice.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in July 2020, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They did a great job with the website. Their team’s transparent about their different digital marketing plans. They tell us about what services each plan includes and explain whether or not we need them.

We recently reached the point where we can start judging the success of the website. However, we get a lot of metrics from Data Driven Design about rankings. Although we're a fairly new startup, we've seen quite a bit of success based on keyword analysis.

How did Data Driven Design, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re in regular communication with them via Zoom meetings. We also use an online platform that allows us to discuss aspects of the project and review project statuses. They have phenomenal turnaround times. Their team offers a different level of professionalism from their competitors.

Aaron’s personally involved and dictates what we need to his team. Having direct communication with him is fantastic.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Data Driven Design took our vision and improved upon it. Their team’s clear about what tasks need to be done, why they need to be done, and their expected outcomes. They’re also clear about what we should change on a month to month basis to target specific demographics. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not at this point.
