Measurable outcomes in our project were easy to discern given that one could see if progress was being made accordingly based on if the function on the site became active or gains were made in form or functionality.

They do an exceptional job responding to our needs compared to previous developers we've worked with. We have been using web developers for 22 years, and Cultura Interactive has been the most consistent, reachable, and prompt developer we've worked with. They have been patient with any delays we've had on our side while maintaining an urgency on their side.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Truthfully them being a development partner not just a developer. In our two decades of being a web business most developers do whatever it is you ask for, regardless if it is a good choice or what it will cost. They don't take time to understand the flow and purpose of your business or consider finances when recommending options. Cesar, while always respecting our decisions, would mention why one option was better functionally speaking or why a different option might be worth exploring due to cost.
Cesar also had well thought out reasoning as to why they made the choices they did on items we didn't specify instructions for. We actually went with Cultura even though they were twice the bid of other companies.The reason being after all the developers we've worked with we know that no project comes in completely within budget. The higher bid cost to us meant that Cesar had put time in to consider the full scope of the project.
Additionally many developers give you a shiny bid that sounds amazing then charge you a kidney when you run into the inevitable roadblock. That has gratefully not been the case whatsoever with Cultura. They're exactly the partner we've been looking for, and we didn't even know if such a rare combination existed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Cultura Interactive could have done differently?

In any partnership there are times when one side or the other doesn't go exactly as planned or intended. What is paramount is not to have no problems but to be able to adjust, pivot, listen and work on a solution. Cultura is exceptional in this case. Rather than say there is no room for improvement, I would say Cesar takes all issues, regardless of origin, as room for improvement. You really can't ask for more than that in a partner.

I'm a coordinator at a construction company in Los Angeles County. My role is to coordinate the work that comes to the company, such as bidding opportunities.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cultura Interactive?
When we present bids for jobs, it's important to present the company in a professional way, and updating our website was a big task.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?
Cultura Interactive overhauled and redesigned our website. The team moved our existing content and repackaged it to provide better assets. We've done a lot of public work at a federal level and with local government agencies, and we wanted to show that to potential clients. Cultura Interactive moved about two-thirds of our content and changed our design layout. The team also implemented a new template and implemented plug-ins.

Cultura Interactive provided us with a 30-day guarantee period for any issues we might encounter after launching the site. We sent the raw video footage to the team, and they edited and uploaded the content to our site, making the necessary adjustments.

What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was Cesar (Founder & CEO), and I worked with 2–3 other teammates

How did you come to work with Cultura Interactive?

My boss met Cultura Interactive through a family friend. We interviewed various web design and branding companies, and Cultura Interactive offered the best package considering their price and services.

We spent $14,000.

What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with Cultura Interactive from April–July 2024.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
A big part of Cultura Interactive's pitch was the SEO aspect of the site to attract more clients; however, that wasn't our main goal for this project. Our goal was to make the site appealing to potential clients and decision-makers. We wanted people to see our previous work and projects when they came to the site to appeal to potential clients. Cultura Interactive helped us achieve our goal, and the feedback from my company's leadership team was good.

We had a better website than before and were happy with the result. Our previous site didn't have video elements, and Cultura Interactive's design was cleaner. I'm still in the process of understanding how to keep plug-ins updated. Cultura Interactive delivered higher-quality videos and photos and arranged content in a way that was easier for potential clients to navigate and better understand our company.

How did Cultura Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated primarily via email and over the phone on a secondary level. Cultura Interactive stayed on budget, and we didn't have any financial issues because the contract we signed was clear. The team was quick in communicating and delivering work.

In one instance, the team delayed work for a day because we required tasks that took a longer time, like uploading and optimizing content. However, I had no complaints. We had a post-launch follow-up meeting last week, and Cultura Interactive was prompt and quick.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Cultura Interactive was very responsive. When I had a question for Cesar, he usually responded within an hour or two. If I reached out to Cesar in the morning through an email, it was very likely that I would hear back from him that same morning. That was very nice and something I appreciated.

Are there any areas they could improve?
When we were designing the site, I wish we had more interaction with Cultura Interactive and more design options. If we had more options to choose from in the design process, that would've made our engagement more perfect. However, I'm nitpicking, and this isn't a major complaint. We were very happy with our website, but if we could've considered more design options, that would've been nice as well.

Converted our website from XCart to WooCommerce in 2018 and continued to support us with CRO and SEO projects as well as custom coding for our website through 2024. Currently helping us with our migration from WooCommerce to Shopify - and they've also helped with the website of another company we acquired (on BigCommerce).
