Scope of Work Summary:

The developer was responsible for building the core web portal of Skilink, a platform that connects homeowners with skilled blue-collar professionals. The scope of work included both frontend and backend development. Key deliverables included:

Frontend (React.js):

• User registration and login pages
• Onboarding flow for skilled workers
• Public profile pages for workers (designed to be shared on social media)
• Responsive UI implementation, with a focus on usability

Backend (Django REST Framework):

• User authentication and authorization
• API development for job listings, user data, and worker profiles
• Admin panel configuration and basic moderation features

Additional Tasks:

• Integration with WhatsApp for user support
• Deployment and testing on a staging environment
• Ongoing bug fixes and minor UI updates based on user feedback

Their project management was well-structured and transparent—we always knew what was being worked on and when to expect delivery. Most of our key milestones, including user registration, onboarding flow, and worker profile pages, were delivered on time. What stood out the most was their responsiveness. As a founder, my priorities sometimes shifted based on real-time user feedback, and the Contivix team was quick to adapt. They genuinely listened, understood the vision, and were flexible enough to implement changes without losing momentum. It felt like having a true tech partner rather than just a vendor.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Contivix Technologies could have done differently?

Overall, the experience with Contivix Technologies was really positive. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be around the UI/UX polish in the early stages. While the core functionality was delivered well and on time, some of the visual elements and user flows could’ve used a bit more attention initially. That said, the team was very receptive to feedback and worked on improving those areas quickly once we highlighted them. It’s clear they prioritize functionality first, which worked for us in the MVP phase—but a bit more focus on design from the start could make the process even smoother
