Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the marketing manager of Livith SpA, a company which produces lifelines and safety systems for those who work at height and in confined spaces.

For what projects/services did your company hire Connecta srl, and what were your goals?

We wanted to create an innovative software complete with app with which to provide our customers, so that they could keep all essential documents at hand and easily accessible for all technicians to access so that maximum safety could be upheld when working in dangerous locations.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had worked with Connecta prior to this project for a marketing and communications project. After a positive experience, we decided to pitch to them our idea for this innovative software to see what solutions they could offer. The decisive factors were: the understanding of our requirements, the thoroughness of analyses and meetings and fundamentally, the proposal of the end result.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Connecta designed our desktop software and compatible app using an ionic framework for the app and Microsoft dot.net for the services. The main product features include geolocalisation, archiving functions, alert system, agenda creation and scheduling, and monitoring.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 4 people in the main work group: the CTO, CEO, 2 developers for front end and back end development. In addition to the work group for the software development, Connecta provided us with a group of designers to work on the website and graphics.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to create a user friendly app which in turn has helped to save our users a lot of time and hassle with finding general paperwork connected to safety systems during inspections and maintenance work. We were able to transform the products of our sector from a relatively low-tech to a high-tech one in a relatively short timeframe

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project management was productive and communicative. We genrally communicated in face-to-face meetings when and where possible. Alternatively, we were able to meet online regularly via Zoom.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Connecta srl provided us with a complete team in order to meet all of our project's requirements, from initial brainstorming to customisation options and reaching the marketing and dissemination milestone. They always had someone on hand to cater to our needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only thing we probably had issues with, were occasional setbacks in the time frame of the project. However, these setbacks were always overcome by the final quality of the results.

I'm the responsible of LiCoRD project. We develop and produce anti-seismic device for historical buildings and monuments.

We are a very young innovative start up company and need in marketing services as well as support for customized software and web platforms. Our aim is to satisfy the cunstomer's need with innovative and smart solutions offering robust and simple services.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We choosed this vendor for their good references on past works and for their professionality and capability demonstrated recently. The geographical vicinity of the company with our operative location also encouraged the decision.

After a preliminary meeting the main structure of the platform was decided. Different intermediate steps included a continuous updating of the platform and these was shown periodically, setting iterative modifications. Final testing of the "BETA" version was possible through the sharing of administrator credencials. The result is a well structurated platform corresponding to our needs which is also be reproduced in mobile.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The CEO was present for almost all management meeting for main decisions. The project manager, as well as the developer were communicating us the updates frequently solving main technical aspects.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Being the platform in BETA version, this is not published yet and no user's feedback is available yet. However, the project was presented to our CEO and to few partners showing great entusiasm and highly approved!!!

The great vicinity allowed for monthly meetings in presence. During the final period there were more frequent updates also communicated by email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They seems to handle very easily all necessary tools for web developing finding the best solutions to all our needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At the final stages it was not clear if the platform could be used through mobile devices. We promptly communicated them and they adapted from browser to mobile easily.
