Conefer, Inc. is an AI consulting firm for small businesses, founded in 2019 and based in the Albuquerque metro area of New Mexico. We work with local service trades, professional services firms, and health and personal-service businesses across the United States and Canada.
Most small businesses that come to us have already bought AI. They have a chatbot, a scheduling tool, three subscriptions nobody can fully account for - and the work is not moving any faster. The reason is almost always that the tool was bolted onto a process that was never redesigned. Automating a broken process just produces a faster mess.
So we start with a diagnostic rather than an install. Our assessment engagement - we call it the Conefer Recon - inventories the AI and workflows actually running in the business, evaluates each one, and produces a written plan covering what to keep, what to cancel, and what to rebuild. It takes two days and starts at $2,500.
Then we build what the plan calls for. The person who writes the assessment is the person who ships the implementation. We do not hand the work to a delivery team and we do not resell software - clients own every subscription in their own name.

He holds a BS in IT Management, is a SCORE mentor, and Conefer is an OpenAI Select Partner. He has advised 26+ organizations.
