Caravel Innovation offers top level strategic consultancy in business and product development and technology transfer of early stage innovations to the market.

One stop shop for business analysis, business planning, financial consultancy, project inancing and project management for all needs of innovative small and medium enterprises, including startups, across different sectors. Caravel counts on a team of 30 professionals, business analysts, software developers, graphic designer, marketing and communication experts, lawyer, HR experts.

I am the Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Caravel Innovation SL. I have the primary responsibility for managing the company's finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting.

For what projects/services did your company hire Colouring Department?

Colouring Department created a full package service including branding, content writing, web design, development and an on-going digital marketing strategy. We have hired Colouring Department to receive a customised website, to build the designs of our websites. Our requirement was to have custom code incorporated into the chosen CMS.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to get online in a very short period of time while making a strong impact on the market.

We worked with Colouring Department in presence since also our company has a base in Gran Canaria. We had very specific needs for the project that were planned over a personal meeting.

Once the initial brief was created Charlotte and her team devised a strategy for the project implementation. We had various brainstorming sessions but in general Charlotte and her team handled the project delivery independently.

What was the team composition?

Our interactions were mainly with Charlotte, however, the team composed of a web designer, a developer, a SEO expert and a marketing specialist.

Our company website was launched in a short space of time, it looks professional and matches the quality of our business.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

It was very easy. We made our requests, they were taken and understood and further improved on. We were also guided through the process which allowed us to trust Colouring Department at every stage.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They proactively extracted our requirements and effectively transformed them into an excellent creative strategy, which has proven to return an immediate improvement of our image and an increase in our revenues. Furthermore, Charlotte's advice greatly impacted our marketing strategy overall.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As Colouring Department service quality is very high, they also expect very timely payments to their invoices. I have asked for some patience, but at the end I had to pay within the contractual terms, with no delays. Fair enough but hardcore!

Rome Guided Visit is a tour operator, and I am the owner. We organize incoming tours in Rome and Italy.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a complex website with many pages. We have a wide selection of private tours. We also wanted the site to have four languages, and Charlotte helped us with all the texts. She also worked hard to meet our requirements for the booking page, cause we have a personalized price system.

How did you select this vendor?

Colouring Department made the website to a friend who suggested us to contact Charlotte. A team working at our project in their mother tongue, was just the right suggestion since we sell mostly to international tourists.

We had a few phone calls, and they sent a quotation. Colouring Department has clients in Italy and Charlotte met us in Rome twice While giving instructions to the webmasters, she worked on our texts for their optimizations. Step by step, she submitted the work to us. In the end, we had just what we needed.

The only person we worked with was Charlotte. She gave instructions to her staff which made everything easier.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The final aim was to sell our products on Google AdWords, and Charlotte suggested a professional who helped us do that successfully. We had much more contact with the new site that could reach customers to the other side of the world.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Charlotte was quick and respected the timing. Ahe was very accomodating about all our requests and did not give up until we were happy with the work. I was the one who worked with her, sharing the ideas of my team with the ones of her.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Apart from Charlotte professionalism and friendliness, I assume she has a great team capable of working hard to meet her deadlines!

I do not know. Colouring Department did everything we requested!

Colouring Department had originally created a website for iCAST using Elementor. After some time, the website needed updating as it began to slow down and had become affected by bugs. We recruited Colouring Department to refresh the website using WordPress.

The website has migrated to WordPress. It is far easier to use and there are no issues with bugs.

Colouring Department was highly professional throughout, responding to queries and requests quickly and efficiently. She kept regular contact, keeping me up to date with progress and forewarning me of any delays.
