I am the President of the Association Indigo - volunteer of AWAP Indigo

Association for Animal Protection and Welfare Indigo was founded out of love for animals. In 2023 we celebrate the tenth anniversary of our existence and work. The Association is engaged in rescuing animals, volunteering, fostering animals and - as the most important part - socialization and re-socialization of abused and traumatized dogs in which we are the only association to deal with it.

We promote the need of socialization and social reintegration of abused and traumatized dogs and education of people about the so-called "dangerous" breeds and education in general. Along with the providing of abused and abandoned animals, objective of the Association is to find a compatible owner for a particular animal -"Perfect Match" .

The training of future and current animal owners is also our goal, since it is known that the animals are mostly adopted for its beauty and looks, and less attention is given to their character in relation to the character of the animal.

From the initial contact by the Collective Mind company towards us until the launch of the application INDIGO SPAJALICA on February 14, 2023. the Association carried out communication about plans, details and wishes on a weekly basis, we held online meetings, phone calls and coordinated everything necessary regarding the content, visual appearance, details and plan how we would like the application to work - in relation to adoption.

Collective Mind provided the technical part, the possibility of performance, suggestions and ideas about the performance of the application. Therefore, information and wishes of what we would like went from our side, and possibilities, proposals and execution from Collective Mind's side. After the launch of the application, the Association independently carried out an external advertising campaign (billboard advertising space).

Collective mind, in agreement with us, made the graphic solution, i.e. the visual of the billboard poster. Together with Collective mind we did an event, a live presentation of the application accompanied by the media (journalists - online portals , TV media, interviews). To this day, we present the application through social networks, radio interviews and other channels. The feedback on the application is very good and this is the first application for animal adoption in Croatia.

Communication with Collective Mind is very satisfying and positive. Everything was delivered on time, as agreed. They were proactive, gave initiative and suggestions, regularly reported on the status of the application development in the process itself and were available for everything needed.

The very idea of ​​how to help an Association like us, that deals with fostering abandoned dogs and cats, while making it different, better and more interesting than something that already exists. They could have helped more simply, for example by sharing some of our stories on social networks, by donating, by volunteering in the sense of coming to us or some physical work actions, but they initiated a completely different and commendable project.

One of the challenging parts was that the platform had to still be functional, while the development team had a task to remake the back- and front-end, without end users realizing it and without interrupting their experience on the platform.
