Actually, we worked with Cogniteq on several projects already but the latest one was an IoT app. The team helped us to build a mobile app for Android and iOS.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

As I’ve already noted, we had successful previous experience working with this company, and we knew they had the expertise and developers needed for this project.

It is a mobile app that helps to control smart home devices remotely, including TV sets, kitchen appliances, lights, door locks and other devices that a user may have at home.

The Cogniteq team included 7 members:

• 2 iOS developers
• 1 Android developer
• 1 Designer
• 1 Project manager
• 1 QA specialist
• an Account Manager

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The client appreciated our ability to deliver on time and according to requirements, so now we discuss the scope for the second dev phase.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We like how all the processes are organized at Cogniteq. It is always pleasant and easy to communicate with guys. Moreover, their developers were good at identifying potential pitfalls before they occurred.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They’ve been really good at meeting all of our expected deadlines. We haven’t had any problems with any deliveries. Moreover, the latest app that I am talking about was built just within 4 months, and for an app with such functionality, it’s really impressive.

No, not that I can think of.

Available in Q2/Q3 of 2021 in the Apple Store & Google Play Store.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was effective and efficient and the communication was great. Their feedback about how each solution affects the cost and quality was very helpful to us as a startup. We have a great relation with Cogniteq: it feels like we are one team. The MVP was delivered within time and budget.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The Cogniteq-team is competent, proactive, flexible and they show great dedication to the project. They also take pride in their performance. And most of all: they are incredibly kind! We look forward to working with them on the next phase of the development.

What were your goals for this project?

Develop an entire Native Mobile Application capturing all the requirements for a full service flag carrier

We did a down selection based on providers within our Network in- and outside of LinkedIn. After a trial period with 1 developer, we got to know Cogniteq as a very reliable partner and decided to contract a larger team of 6 developers.

Thanks to the contribution from the highly talented Cogniteq staff we implemented the Native Mobile Application on both iOS and Android platforms.

On top, Cogniteq helped us increase knowledge of swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
