We started the search for a suitable company, then narrowed it down to a few candidates and Codnity was at the top. We reached out and scheduled an interview with the co-founders of the company to discuss our case. The most important factors for us were quality and comprehension of our needs. They truly tried to understand us, our needs, and our company’s philosophy. That made us 100% sure we chose the right company.

We started with discussions, project planning, roadmap development etc. We discussed the process of the whole project, and Codnity started to create UX/UI design. Codnity has been a wonderful company to work with. Since their team is relatively small, it made the whole communication clear and enjoyable. Codnity also understood our business actions and needs unlike other IT companies, which focus only on the coding part. Those two things truly stood out.

We made a few price inquiries to software development companies. Then shortlisted two of them. After meeting both of them we just felt that Codnity is very professional and puts a huge effort to understand the business behind our operations. This was the main factor, why we choose them. The price was more or less the same for both.

First, they made the interview with us to thoroughly understand the business case, we gave them our logo and planned color palette, and set the deadline. Afterwards, they came up with several mockups of the functionality we wanted to build, including full website design. We discussed and picked in our opinion the best. I think we ended the project in three weeks. They presented the deliverable, everything worked really well, we made a few content changes and launched the website live.

We worked directly with their CEO (he understands the business needs very well) and CTO (he is a wizard on the tech side and possible technical solutions). Then there was one web designer, one front-end and also backend developer. Together 5 persons.

As we were mainly talking with their CEO (he acted as a project manager) the workflow was very effective. There was no need to talk with their team as we wanted to keep only one touchpoint between the two parties.

We found it impressive that they dig into the business very much and try to understand the revenue/cost points on our side and how to better treat them. Usually, the IT companies do not understand the business behind our actions, they only code. We think that they are still a relatively small company which is good because we can talk directly with the CEO/CTO, instead of some project manager. Also, the focus and competence are higher if the CEO/CTO has a direct interest in the project.

The Codnity team worked very professionally and proactively. Their speed and know-how helped us launch our project in a really short time.

Many custom made solutions were planned for our website and our previous experience with other web page developers was unsuccessful. The company was able to advise us on all topics of interest and adapted to our choice of technical solutions, which facilitated our cooperation.

The project took more time than we had originally expected, however, various scope clarifications were necessary during development of the web page and in all cases we have found a solution.

### Mobile app for ticket and C19 certificate scanning
Biļešu paradīze is one of the leading event ticketing platforms in Latvia, which offers tickets for a wide range of entertainment – starting from concerts and theatre performances to various seminars and sports events. 
Our task was to develop a mobile app for Android and IOS devices, that could scan tickets and certificates.
After discussions about the process of the whole project, we started to create UX/UI design. Afterwards, we started to develop the app for both operating systems. After improvements and successful tests, the app was deployed. You can find the BilesuParadize tickets scanner app on App Store and Google Play, which now has more than 100 downloads.
Our cooperation with Biļešu paradīze was successful since they are very satisfied with the result – controlling the entrance tickets to the event has never been easier.


### A mobile-first web tool for waste logistics
PostHaul provides a wide range of services related to air and land transport. With the development of waste sorting and a greener environment in Latvia, PostHaul decided to expand its operations and ensure the transportation of packaging delivered from deposit points to the final recipient.
In order to efficiently manage deposit waste transportation, our objective was to develop a mobile-first tool where drivers can:

Receive tasks for the day
Check next destinations
Count the received waste amount
Generate an acceptance act with the shops

We have developed a deposit packaging collection system that stores all the necessary data and records the full cycle, starting from the request to the delivery.
The project is considered a huge success and is fully implemented in PostHaul's daily work. We continue to work together to further automate and develop the system into a sellable product that Post Haul could offer in other markets.

Latvian Post is the main state-owned postal service provider. Our goal for them and their advertisement partner MRVLS was to build an easy and straightforward digital solution for companies to introduce themself with the possibility to put commercial ads in Latvian Post physical branches.

The core mission of the Gauja National Park tourism cluster Enter Gauja is to increase the awareness and popularity of Gauja National Park. It is the most competitive tourist destination in Latvia outside the capital city. Enter Gauja represents municipalities, producers and businesses that operate in the Gauja National Park. The producers are special in that they create high-quality and unique Latvian products that radiate love for nature.
Our objective was to develop an E-commerce platform for their website. Enter Gauja online store offers a wide range of products and services. Since Enter Gauja required a full e-shop development, the scope included:

For Auto Kada we are developing:

Frontend solution for B2B system using ReactJS
Backend solution for B2B with Django/Python
API integration platform (Phyton), that provides communication between AK systems by transferring data (for example, from the warehouse management system to B2B)
