For what projects/services did your company hire Codnity?

With the development of the waste sorting system in Latvia, we decided to expand our operations and ensure the transportation of packaging delivered from deposit points to the final recipient. Codnity helped us to develop a custom mobile-first tool to manage this transportation.

The main deciding factors for us were quality, communication and matching our budget limit. We identified that Codnity had the skills and experience we needed.

During the meetings and calls, we explained our goals and based on them, Codnity proposed the best solution. They developed a deposit packaging collection system that stores all the necessary data and records the full cycle, starting from the request to the delivery. The interface is easy to navigate, and the drivers can find everything they need quickly.

We worked with the project manager, designer and two developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This application is intended for internal use by employees of our company. It allows our drivers to: • receive tasks for the day • check next destinations • count the received waste amount • generate an acceptance act with the shops

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The communication was very clear and effective throughout the whole project. We scheduled weekly calls to keep track of the workflow. This way Codnity made us sure that we were aware of every change and every possible complication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They really were a good team to work with. They built a solution that was fully implemented in our daily work, and we were pleased with how they communicated.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We hired Codnity to develop an E-commerce platform for our National Park’s website. Our goal was to build an E-shop that was easy to manage and navigate.

We looked at various IT development companies but decided to go with Codnity. We found them to be very technically advanced and highly skilled during our first interview. They offered not only the best quality but also the most appropriate price. That’s why we decided to work with them.

We needed a full e-shop development, therefore, the scope included design, coding, testing, integration, and training.

We worked daily with 2 people – the PM of the project and the CEO.

Overall, we were very pleased to work with Codnity.

Their project management style was very organized. So was the communication. Codnity always provided quick feedback and followed the timelines very closely at each step of the way. We admired their work ethic and would definitely recommend working with them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We felt like they truly cared about our experience with them. They understood our requirements quickly, so there was no need for long calls. This was important to us since we wanted to complete this project as soon as possible before the start of the tourism season.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We can’t think of anything that they can improve.

For what projects/services did your company hire Codnity, and what were your goals?

We chose Codnity to develop a mobile app for Android and IOS devices. Our goal for Codnity was to build an app that could scan tickets and Covid certificates.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We started the search for a suitable company, then narrowed it down to a few candidates and Codnity was at the top. We reached out and scheduled an interview with the co-founders of the company to discuss our case. The most important factors for us were quality and comprehension of our needs. They truly tried to understand us, our needs, and our company’s philosophy. That made us 100% sure we chose the right company.

We started with discussions, project planning, roadmap development etc. We discussed the process of the whole project, and Codnity started to create UX/UI design. After approvals and suggestions, they started to develop the app for both operating systems. The next step was app testing. After successful tests, the app was deployed.

Total 2 people worked directly on the project – one of the CEOs and project manager.

Working with Codnity was well organized. The communication was very clear and effective. Their team quickly responded to our changes and worked within the agreed time and budget. We especially want to emphasize the team's expertise in every detail.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Codnity has been a wonderful company to work with. Since their team is relatively small, it made the whole communication clear and enjoyable. Codnity also understood our business actions and needs unlike other IT companies, which focus only on the coding part. Those two things truly stood out.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Initially, we didn’t have an assigned project manager, but the moment the project started, all things improved as they assigned the dedicated project manager. Other than that, everything was wellorganized.

I’m the CEO of mid-size BTL advertising company in Latvia. We work with such customers as Latvian Post, L’Oreal, Nordic Stroke Society, etc.

In the partnership with Latvian post we needed to build an easy and straight forward digital solution for companies to introduce themself with possibility to put commercial ads in Latvian Post physical branches. We approached Codnity to help us build this solution.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We made a few price inquiries to software development companies. Then shortlisted two of them. After meeting both of them we just felt that Codnity is very professional and puts a huge effort to understand the business behind our operations. This was the main factor, why we choose them. The price was more or less the same for both.

First, they made the interview with us to thoroughly understand the business case, we gave them our logo and planned color palette, and set the deadline. Afterwards, they came up with several mockups of the functionality we wanted to build, including full website design. We discussed and picked in our opinion the best. I think we ended the project in three weeks. They presented the deliverable, everything worked really well, we made a few content changes and launched the website live.

We worked directly with their CEO (he understands the business needs very well) and CTO (he is a wizard on the tech side and possible technical solutions). Then there was one web designer, one front-end and also backend developer. Together 5 persons.

As we were mainly talking with their CEO (he acted as a project manager) the workflow was very effective. There was no need to talk with their team as we wanted to keep only one touchpoint between the two parties.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We found it impressive that they dig into the business very much and try to understand the revenue/cost points on our side and how to better treat them. Usually, the IT companies do not understand the business behind our actions, they only code. We think that they are still a relatively small company which is good because we can talk directly with the CEO/CTO, instead of some project manager. Also, the focus and competence are higher if the CEO/CTO has a direct interest in the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The Codnity team worked very professionally and proactively. Their speed and know-how helped us launch our project in a really short time.

Our previous developer couldn’t meet the deadlines and the quality of their work was poor. Therefore, we made price inquiries to a few software development companies. Since we had worked with Codnity before, we decided to go with them again. We liked their approach and felt like their team was very professional.

We needed to develop a website with various API integrations that include a:

• identification tools.

It was very important that the webpage is built according to the best SEO practices. Codnity handled it all well and everything was delivered.

We worked with both of their partners, Janis and Girts, the project manager, and 2 more developers.

Many custom made solutions were planned for our website and our previous experience with other web page developers was unsuccessful. Therefore, it was important for us that the project was implemented in close cooperation with us, discussing solutions and advising on better approaches. The company was able to advise us on all topics of interest and adapted to our choice of technical solutions, which facilitated our cooperation.

The project took more time than we had originally expected, however, various scope clarifications were necessary during development of the web page and in all cases we have found a solution.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team responded quickly to our questions and comments, which made us feel like they truly cared about our experience even though there were some misunderstandings.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We started our cooperation as a waterfall project, however during development we realized that an agile approach would suit us better.

We hired Codnity in order to develop a tool that could help us to be one step ahead of the other real estate market companies by receiving the information about the property prices faster and in a more filtered way.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Codnity convinced us of their capabilities slowly, meeting by meeting. They gained our trust and we decided to give them a chance to complete this project before we give some project of larger scale.

In the beginning, we described the business logic and goals that we want to reach with this web application. We gave direct access to our data and the project began. Codnity was delivering the system in tranches. The first draft was ready in two weeks, then we had a couple of more weeks to tweak the details, and in 3 to 4 weeks the project was done.

I can’t say anything about their internal team, but with us directly worked 3 people - two founders (Janis and Girts) + one project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

This web application is strictly for internal use only. If needed, we could share some snippets.

Can’t say anything bad. We wanted to be involved as little as needed, and I believe they honored our wish. We gave them one person with whom to discuss the details and the workflow was smooth.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I can’t say that there was something unique as we did not work so long enough to realize that. The impressive part was that they understood our business needs and were delivered pretty fast. We did not need to describe the idea in long meetings, they got it pretty fast.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No.
