I am a managing partner at a startup that specializes in electrical components manufacturing.

What challenges were you trying to address with  Codigitar?

We needed to develop a management platform where we could manage stock, materials, production orders, clients' and service providers' information, etc. It had to be a custom development, as we knew that finding a solution that satisfied our business' particularities would be a hard task.   

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided them with the specifics and requirements of the project and from then on, they started with the development from scratch. The system was developed using PHP.

The platform included the creation of a materials database. It's divided by families, which allows us to manage our stock and make accurate purchase orders automatically.

What was the team composition?

We work directly with four people, including a project manager. There might be more people involved but I haven’t interacted with them.

How much have you invested in them?

The cost is about 800,000 Argentine pesos (approximately $6,000 USD).                                                                             

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in June 2021, and it is an ongoing collaboration.         

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Codigitar has been a very good partner. We haven’t finished the whole development but there are some modules currently in use, and the quality is great. The system is very user-friendly, it can be accessed on any computer, and it allows multiple users. 

How did Codigitar perform from a project management standpoint?

We haven’t had any issues. We communicate using WhatsApp, email, and periodic meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

For us, it was very important to have someone to work closely with. The fact that they're based in the same province as us allows us to count on their availability, which means a lot to us personally.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We did encounter a couple of coding errors that had to be fixed, but Codigitar responded and solved them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We've had a good experience working with them but everyone’s needs are different. Maybe something useful would be to be clear on your communication and find the right terms to explain all of your needs in a transparent way.

I selected it because I knew the guys and I knew they worked well
