I work for cashback SaaS. I am a Product Manager and responsible for delivering various projects and features.

For what projects/services did your company hire Codesurf?

Codesurf was building a coupon platform for us.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to build a service for our website where the user can withdraw a coupon or promotional code. The solution had several back-end third-party integrations.

Codesurf team created a Wordpress template that was able to acquire data from the API integration and show it to the user. Easy-to-edit sections were incorporated into the site and we were able to use it for diverse promo campaigns.

The task was to create a Wordpress template able to show information from an API to the user. This template must have several editable fields, including an editable image logo. The template will be used for different inputs, so it must be flexible and accurate on the data it shows.

We needed to make a smooth integration with the API, to parse promo-codes from the partner network. And create a coupon page with shop filters on it. Furthermore, we had to create a coupon type page, on the admin page.

What was the team composition?

It was a team of two people. In project was involved one a back-end developer and a CTO.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Now we have thousands of customers employing the solution on a daily basis. In the end, we had a working solution that we are able to edit with ease. They created several shortcodes to help us edit separately all the information we needed to add on the page.

As well, we took advantage of the Featured Image to assign a logo for each page created with a template.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

A good firm to hire. The time and effort they put into deployment and client satisfaction were great. During the cooperation process, they suggested many ideas for the future.

The new CRM works great, able to manage all the requests from clients and other different stakeholders. With the help of the CRM, we were able to streamline all the processes in the company. It was also nice that we were able to manage email marketing campaigns in a much cheaper and easier way than with other solutions we tried before.

Codesurf's team was very responsive throughout the whole process. All this despite different time zones, at any hour of the day, they always replied back pretty quickly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The development speed was impressive. Their diligence to work in a fast-paced environment where there’s no space for extra questions was an asset for us. The devs managed to think ahead and figure out our needs in advance. The services were at very cost-effective rates, which helped cut dev costs and save valuable time.
