We, JeraSoft company, had the privilege of collaborating with Coderiver back in 2017. They helped us develop our website, which continues to operate without any changes and remains up-to-date in terms of its code. They completed everything within a span of 3 months, taking into account all of our requirements and necessary timelines. JeraSoft is pleased to share our positive experience of working with Coderiver. 

This collaboration proved to be highly successful and resulted in the creation of a website that still serves our company and remains current in all aspects, including its code. Coderiver impressed us with their efficiency and professionalism. Thanks to their team's dedication to the project, they were able to bring all of our ideas and requirements to fruition in an extremely short time frame, just three months.

My goal was to have creative but at the same time easy to use website. So along with custom animation and interaction it was very important to have a great performance.

It was an easy choice for me, because one of my friends recommended Coderiver. I reviewed their portfolio and after a quick call with the team I was confident that they can provide the result I want.

First of all we discussed the scope, design that was created and animations. Then we've worked block by block with weekly calls to discuss progress. The last phase was testing and polishing to achieve the best user experience. During our collaboration on website development I made a few changes to the design and Codriver team were very flexible to make changes, we just adjusted the scope.

I am very happy with the result and timelines. I also want to mention great communication level of the team. I was happy to work with people who care about the result they provide. Coderiver team helped me create a beautiful website which won SOTD and Developer Award on Awwwards.

We have all our communication in slack with weekly calls which worked perfectly for me. The Coderiver team was flexible in the selection of communication tools and their frequency.

Sometimes it is hard for me to work with development companies. I am designer and I pay a lot of attention to each detail which most of developers don't. Surprisingly it was very easy to work with the Coderiver team. Even when we needed to fix something it was done very quickly.

I can't think about anything right now

I'm a Project Manager in the IT company that provides outsourcing development services for web development.

The project that we used Coderiver devs for is a no-code platform that is basically a startup. Coderiver devs have been with us from the beginning of the project and first create html/css on Angular and later - on React. Guys implement not just html/css to be used by full-stack devs but also do the frontend part where it is needed.

Coderiver provides high-quality professionals that go under rigorous selection. From our side, we had an html/css coder that interviewed the dev from Coderiver and confirmed his qualifications. We never regretted about our choice.

The project has started on April 1st, 2019 from the discovery and determining the scope of work. Initial scope of work was determined as MVP. However, since market grows fast, the scope grew. Initially, Angular was selected as the main framework. However, with time we realized that Angular limitations impact the project so we switched to React. It was a challenge for the team as all devs had to learn new framework. Coderiver guys made this switch as well. Public release was in January, 2022.

The response to the freshly-launched website was great particularly due to the visual part.

Every day there is a team standup to provide progress of the dev task and determine priorities for the day if they were changed by the client. All team members are free to communicate with the client directly to discuss technical questions and avoid bridge communication through a PM. Several dev teams work on the project so there's a lot of cross-team communication. Tools used on the project: GSuite, Slack, SmartSuite, internal time-tracking tool.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Coderiver is responsive to our requests and needs. Devs are really high-quality ones and increase their expertise. They bring big value to the project. Everyone from devs to managers always keep us up if there're any issues or questions.

I'm the Chief of Growth at LOOQME. We're a media monitoring company providing analytical tools for social networks and other media.

What challenge were you trying to address with Coderiver?

They helped us redesign the frontend of our platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a platform that was built using legacy tools and program languages. We wanted to redesign it to make it work faster. Coderiver helped us execute that project after we gave them our technical requirements. 

They rebuilt the frontend, implementing dashboards using React. Our in-house product manager provided them with user research, which informed their development. For the backend, Coderiver only made minor corrections and kept it on the existing platform. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with around 5–6 teammates: a project manager, a designer, two frontend developers, and a QA teammate.

How did you come to work with Coderiver?

They were a referral from one of our friends. Coderiver gave us a brief estimation and overview of what they offered when we hired them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested $80,000–$90,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

This project was from April 2019–August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

This year, we received less customer turnover; customers stayed with us longer. We retained 20 more customers than we were before the partnership with Coderiver. We also got new customers that we couldn't reach before. Sales increased with the new dashboards by more than 30%. Customers really liked the platform's interactive frontend.

There were some bugs, but Coderiver handled them quickly.  

How did Coderiver perform from a project management standpoint?

I was completely satisfied with their project management. We split the project into milestones to monitor delivery, and each milestone had its own budget. They went over the budget for a couple of milestones, but they told us about this beforehand. All the deliveries were made on time.

We used Jira for project management. Communication was typically through email, Google Meet, and Telegram.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Coderiver's team was creative. They would tell us if we were doing something wrong — if our requirements were wrong, they provided suggestions for improving them.  

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should work with some new technology stacks. Coderiver will get more customers if they have a broader range of technologies to provide as part of their services. 

Any advice for potential customers?

I would definitely recommend them because they're a cool company to work with.
