Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
When our collaboration with Codein Software began, our team was spending about 40% of its time on fixing issues with our software. Soon after the project started, that number fell to approximately 25%. Their architecture changes have eliminated all of our previous bugs, and we’ve been able to shift technical support responsibilities away from some of our call-center representatives and financial specialists. We’ve also seen our total percentage of successful loan repayments rise to about 15%.
This new stable platform has allowed for the creation of improved features, and we’ve been able to use these updates to enhance our client evaluation process. We now have an efficient tool that allows us to concentrate on the core of our business.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The team from Codein Software used agile development methodologies and gave us access to project details through Jira. They also created a pre-launch version of the app through TeamCity that we could use to test new features. Their project manager was consistently available via Skype, and we met in-person when needed. They also created reports and invoices for us after every sprint, which allowed us to make changes and pay for components that were already finished.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The team was extremely competent and flexible. They had an answer for every question, and a solution for every problem. Also, several members had a deep understanding of FinTech, which led to quick responses to many of our inquiries.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can’t think of any areas of improvement. I would advise future clients to become deeply involved in the analysis and planning stage of their project. Codein Software has a creative team that can build innovative features, so it’s important to make sure their plan fits with your vision and requirements.
