Please describe your company and your position there.

We are an advertising agency which delivers to clients comunication strategy, creative concepts. I'm business development director and I'm carrying about good relations with our clients and partners.

For what projects/services did your company hire Codee?

We hire Codee to implement our creative concept and design into landing pages. There were four different SKUs with laptops, which needed four different websites based on one creative idea as a communication hub.

What were your goals for this project?

The purpose of the websites was to clearly show the features of computers and the benefits that result from using it. As well as sales goals and collecting leads that redirected the user to the websites of electronic equipment retailers and the sale of computers on the websites of retailers.

How did you select this vendor?

Codee provides very simple and modern solutions, runs projects in an orderly manner, which translates into the quality of services provided. Prices with this partner are also relatively lower than with other IT companies.

Codee deals with broadly understood webdevelopment, preparing the front end for website projects, they are well-versed in responsive web design and website optimization for quick use and seo.

What was the team composition?

The team consisted of two webdevelopers for this project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The pages were made properly and on time, which allowed launching the campaign on time, as well as during the Codee campaign helped and served technical support during updates, making our target customer very satisfied, and sales and image goals were met.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We worked on basecamp and email and telephone correspondence.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Speed, quality, and communication. They provided us excellent value for money we paid them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think it is worth as if they took care of the development of services and go out from the front end area and went to work on mobile or web applications and also took care of basic PHP services.

We are branding studio – Holy Sheep! We create brands/design for small and medium size companies. I am founder and co-owner of the studio.

For what projects/services did your company hire Codee?

We have hired Codee on a number of occasions. They've been working with us as front-end developers throughout last 6 years and this partnership is still ongoing.

We've been doing with them different type of projects (from one page landing, to medium sized web portals) and used their front-end experience and knowledge to the fullest.

What were your goals for this project?

Usually the main requirements are: the website to load quickly, be responsive, and be easily maintainable. Sometimes we ask Codee devs to integrate their front-end with CMS like WordPress, which for us is a big asset.

They know what to do to achieve high quality websites that hit around 95% in most of the Google PageSpeed requirements. It's always important for us, because it guarantees the solid foundations for SEO.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We've been connected around 7 years ago by one of our design partner. We started small with really simple sites, and went from there to front-end projects for 400 hours. When we started we valued their need to help and provide high quality code (this was their main selling point).

During these 7 years they learned a lot and because of that we have stayed in partnership with them during that time. Thus far most of the front-end projects were done by Codee's devs, and we aim to sustain that partnership in that direction.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They provide high quality front-end services (mostly html5, css, javascript), but they learned on the go, and for the last two years we've been working with them using frameworks like VueJS etc. Other than that they are good in integrating with WordPress CMS.

What was the team composition?

Depending on the project we had used for the most of time between one and three developers. We didn't need more for average the size of our project. The team was managed by the owner himself, which let us to communicate quickly and efficiently.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This partnership is letting me sleep well when I need to outsource some frontend work. I've been working in my lifetime with dozens of partners, and stayed continuously working with only three of them (one of which is the Codee team).

There were some ups and downs, but this only shows how projects are different and how important it is to foresee and solve problems on both sides of the project.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

They are communicative, and the estimations are always real (we had situations in which the projects were underestimated but not by a lot and it's quite normal in todays IT projects). Thanks to being in the same city we've been able to meet systematically and improve the partnership over time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were able to manage their team to work extra hours when we were hitting the deadline. This shows how involved they are.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It would benefit them if they implemented strict "triple check policy", because sometimes the things are not on the production, but on the development server. It's not a big thing, but it would make a good overall impression at the end of the day.
