I’m the owner of an IT company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What was the scope of their involvement?

codecreed helped me develop my application. Initially, we had discussions about the project and encouraged each other. As a result, we found the best solution, which I really appreciated. We had some unexpected issues during the testing phase, but they solved those problems.

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with four people from codecreed, but they might have had more people involved in the project.

How did you come to work with codecreed?

We needed to choose the right team to develop the application. I had meetings with a couple of companies and decided to choose codecreed because I felt the highest level of satisfaction after my conversation with them. I felt that they would help me create a good solution for what I wanted to achieve.

Based on my technical knowledge, I could see that they had the skills needed to work on this application. I also saw their previous development work and liked it. We both come from the same city, and although I didn’t know them previously, we had common friends, so I felt that they would be the best choice.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent around 100,000 Polish Zloty, which is around $25,000 USD.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2020, and the project took around one year.

SOLUTION

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m not an expert in IT, but I know about programming, and I knew that codecreed delivered quality code. However, it is hard to provide results because we haven’t launched the application yet, and the process hasn’t finished for us.

We had some problems due to the pandemic, so we couldn’t introduce the application as we wanted to and decided to wait a little longer. Now, we’re thinking about changing some features and adding others, but I would like to deploy it at the beginning of 2022.

How did codecreed perform from a project management standpoint?

We had good communication with codecreed throughout the project. We had a meeting once or twice a month, where they showed me the features that were introduced into the application.

Punctuality was one of their strengths. In most cases, the previously planned features were implemented before the next meeting. Overall, I was very satisfied.

What did you find most impressive about them?

codecreed’s technical knowledge was great; they were a really good choice for mobile application development. I think this is a company worth recommending, and I am pretty sure we will work with them again in the future.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be nice to have a person responsible for being the point of contact between their customers and the developers so that their team could focus more on the development. I understand that they currently don’t have a lot of employees as they’re a young company, which is probably why the developers have direct communication with the customers.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It is really worth it to have a meeting and talk with them. It is important to feel the chemistry with the team and make sure that you are thinking in a similar way and want to achieve the same goal.
