Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CEO of a daily deal ecommerce platform.

For what projects/services did your company hire TECHG?

I was looking for a company that could cope with code problems in an existing and obsolete daily deal system. Finally, I bought a new system that required some serious fixes. I also wanted to add an automatic invoicing system to the new system from scratch.

What were your goals for this project?

The main objective was to fix bugs in the new system, add several new functions, develop payment system integration (PayU) and create an automatic invoicing system from scratch.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I chose them from a dozen or so other offers. The main reason for this decision was the phone call we had. I got the impression that they really know what they're doing.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

They prepared a new system, made dozens, if not hundreds of amendments, also they designed and coded the whole system of automatic invoicing.

What was the team composition?

The whole team that worked (and is still working on the project) consisted of 3 people, including 2 developers and one project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They have made a lot of improvements to the system, thanks to which we can manage the entire daily deal system in an even easier way.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team worked quickly and efficiently, so I think project management is a big plus. However, there were some minor mistakes, but the team reacted very quickly to fix them. We contacted as I liked - by phone and e-mail. At any time - even in the evening - we could easily talk about the solutions we were developing.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

TECHG is a young company, but they know exactly what they are doing. Excellent contact, professionalism and great commitment at every stage of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Project management wasn't perfect, there were moments when some small matters were lost in a "jungle" of other tasks.

For what projects/services did your company hire TECHG?

For a fresh initiative in the heart of Rotterdam we were asked to create a simple brand identity and a minimalistic website. We created the new brand in-house and asked TECHG to help us with the development.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed help creating our design on a Wordpress back-end, where the client had full control over the content. We wanted a simple, responsive theme that could be updated when needed.

How did you select this vendor?

TECHG is a young company with talented developers, which we contacted directly for this specific job. We had been in contact before and were waiting for the right project to take on together.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We designed the one-page website in photoshop, with a desktop, tablet and mobile version. We provided TECHG with these source files, separate assets and a small set of guidelines. TECHG is responsible for the complete development of the website based on our design. They developed the site on a local host and after approval transferred it to our clients' domain + host.

What was the team composition?

Our project consisted of 4 people in total, including a creative team a designer and a photographer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The project was delivered before its deadline, mainly because TECHG overdelivered, time-wise. They completed the project a little faster than anticipated which we appreciated. The end result will be submitted to awwwards.com

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was done mainly via e-mail and TECHG never went over our discussed deadline.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

TECHG is a young company with developers who want to create amazing solutions. They are smart, pro-active and aren't afraid to come up with several different solutions for a problem. They respond very well to feedback and try to act fast on any changes within a project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There were a couple points of feedback which they responded to and solved quickly, but which were unnecessary if they had debriefed better. However i am sure if we work on another project with them this will not be an issue again. We are very satisfied with the quality of their work.
