Cod-Pal developed a custom language learning platform for us that integrates YouTube videos with interactive, clickable subtitles. The core functionality allows users to watch videos and click on any word in the subtitles to pause the video, view the translation, and save the word to their private dictionary. Users can then generate personalized quizzes from their saved words to practice vocabulary.

The key deliverables included:

• A responsive web platform with YouTube video integration
• Clickable subtitle functionality with real-time word lookup
• A private user dictionary feature
• Quiz generator that creates exercises from saved words
• User authentication and dashboard
• Admin panel for managing content and users
• Full testing and deployment

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project delivered clear and measurable results that demonstrated its success:

Over 1,200 users registered on the platform within the first 3 months after launch.
Users have saved more than 15,000 words in their private dictionaries through the clickable subtitles feature.
The average session duration increased to 18 minutes, showing strong user engagement with the content.
More than 5,000 quizzes have been generated by users to practice their vocabulary.
We received over 200 pieces of positive feedback, with many users specifically highlighting how the clickable subtitles and personal dictionary made learning more interactive and effective.
Compared to our previous platform, user retention improved by 40%, and the number of returning users increased significantly.
These outcomes showed that the platform was well-received, highly usable, and successful in helping users actively engage with language learning.
