Maybe the only thing they could improve is the status updates. A couple of times when we requested an update status, they said they are working on the list we gave them, but couldnt give us exact information, like what task is being worked on exactly.

This is a very minor issue though.

Admin, Teachers and Parent APPs to help run Sunday School activities such as registration and attendance, file sharing, notifications and enrolment. The key objectives of this app were to make the admin work of a part time school more efficient by enabling the capture of data in a secure environment, with access by the correct personnel only.

The app must work on all platforms and enable login for master admin, admin, teachers and parents.  The app must connect to different database instances on AWS for each school, keeping data encrypted in all communications.  The app must be simple and easy to use and work both offline and online, syncing whenever it is connected with the internet.

I requested Code Gradients to create an app for me from scratch, based on set requirements outlined by myself and sent to them once the partnership had commenced. This included the following, butis not limited to: 

• Create an app from scratch with the following main pages; Home page, Profile, Categories, Map. 
• Create another linked app that is much more simplified, that is used to manage content, profiles and he display of content. 
• Setup a cloud database to store all data that can be viewed or extracted at any time. 
• Test, update, maintain and manage the app going forward, including all new updates, features and testing.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Code Gradients uploaded versions of the app during their development to TestFlight for me to review and test, before providing them with feedback. I also send them a bullet-point checklist of things to fix or update with each version of the app in testing.

They always deliver in a timely manner, with updates on progress as time goes on, as well as estimations of how long left for any amount of work that was provided to them. They also consistently asked questions where needed in regards to the work required of them, to ensure that there were no delays in progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have the ability to create a product to specification in a timely manner with very little issues in the process. Their understanding of what I was trying to create was flawless and they adapted to every change of mind or additions of features during the entire process without any hesitation. They are also very reasonable on price, and their team has a large variety of roles within the company, ensuring they cover all bases of work required to complete the job successfully.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Code Gradients could have done differently?

I cannot fault the work they have completed for me overtime. The company has expanded in size since I began working with them, and the experience of being with them along the way has only improved in this time. My only suggestions would be to have some sort of written plan or tracking of progress of work in coordination with a calendar, so that clients can track progress and timelines and have KPI's for set work in set times.
