Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the product owner for Workday at EWE AG, an energy and telecommunications company. We provide electricity, natural gas, broadband, and related services to households and businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with CloudMcFly?

We needed support for the implementation and optimization of Workday within our company. Our main objectives were to enhance system configuration, streamline HR processes, and ensure a smooth integration of Workday functionalities aligned with our business requirements.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

CloudMcFly has been responsible for configuring and customizing Workday to meet our HR requirements. The scope includes system setup, integration with existing HR processes, data migration support, and testing. Key deliverables are optimized Workday modules, documentation for configurations, and knowledge transfer sessions for our internal team.Specifically, CloudMcFly has optimized and configured several key Workday modules, including Core HCM, Recruiting, and Compensation. The team also provides support for Reporting.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with CloudMcFly in October 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

CloudMcFly’s work has led to significant improvements, including a reduction in manual HR administration tasks, faster onboarding processes through automated workflows, and improved data accuracy. Additionally, system adoption has increased among HR staff, and reporting capabilities have become more reliable, enabling better decision-making.

How did CloudMcFly perform from a project management standpoint?

CloudMcFly delivers on time. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What we’ve been most impressed with is CloudMcFly’s deep Workday expertise combined with their proactive approach. The team doesn’t just execute tasks — they anticipate challenges, suggest best practices, and communicate clearly throughout the project. Their flexibility and ability to adapt to our evolving requirements have made the collaboration truly unique.
