What specific goals or objectives did you hire CloudGeometry to accomplish?

We hired CloudGeometry to help us transition our Diffusion Cloud platform to a Kubernetes-based architecture. We needed to better manage the rapidly broadening influx of feature requests and integration opportunities. As a result of CloudGeometry's hands-on engagement, we were in a much better position to fix bottlenecked back-end data infrastructure dependencies, particularly in upgrading security policies.

The scope of work involved transitioning the Diffusion Cloud platform to a Kubernetes-based architecture, managing feature requests and integration opportunities, and addressing bottlenecks in back-end data infrastructure dependencies. Key deliverables included a complete, modularized provisioning logic, an automated configuration and validation process on one GitOps pipeline, and a single managed service using Vault secrets management.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The measurable outcomes from the project include the elimination of configuration errors between Dev, QA, Pre-prod, and prediction environments, more stable and predictable released cycles, and the ability for customers to try new features sooner. Additionally, the product development team could confidently add features to both backend and frontend without having to take the time to debug dependencies previously exposed only at the end of the release process.

CloudGeometry's project management was effective and responsive. The team were able to deliver items on time and respond to our needs effectively. A key success factor was their ability to prioritize deliverables and dependencies based on their short and long-term impact. They demonstrated a high level of expertise and commitment to the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found most impressive about CloudGeometry was their wealth of experience and their ability to leverage best practices to drive efficient release integration and deployment. Their approach to automating configuration and validation processes was beneficial as the project progressed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CloudGeometry could have done differently?

Continuous communication and transparency are always areas that can be improved in any project. CloudGeometry did a great job, and we look forward to future collaborations.
