This creates a huge margin for error with B2B accounts often getting created as the wrong record type. The identification of a lead being of a certain record type prior to converting would solve this problem.
• HTML Email Status Reports - often showing No Results and cannot work out why - particularly older reports e.g. 2021??

The majority of the key deliverables were achieved. So pretty happy. Only one or two were not and primarily as a result of SF limitations.

Generally yes. There was a period where there was a personal issue for one of the team their end which caused a little delay but that was totally understandable and I would not mark them down for that at all. Responded to needs by arranging meetings and / or sending Loom video explainers.

We work on SalesForce and SalesLoft mostly. They helped us setup all our data flows and rules. They patiently helped with multiple customizations and reporting needs as well.

Within a few months, sales team is comfortable and confident in usage of all platforms. RevOps analytics is much more meaningful and is helping convey my company's results to investors.

We coordinated using Slack messages and Asana tasks. Work was always done within the task deadline and message responses came in an hour or so. We were able to hand off task and move on without much involvement - we only had to answer a few questions regarding preferences. Very effective.

A good amount of development work had been done through a previous agency, and we were left with an environment that had a lot of bugs, and needed additional functionality. Worked with our Director of IT and the Cloudcache team to work through a list of bug fixes, implementing Conga PDF solutions, and some work flow enhancements needed for the business.

Communication was great with the Cloudcache team, and we utilized email, Pivotal Tracker and Ring Central (our orgs chat) to communicate as often as needed. The team was great about being available for calls or questions during our hours (PST) and would quickly follow up on any outstanding questions the following day if there was any time difference challenges.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The communication with Nidhi was really great, and I know at times we were not clear on our end about acceptance criteria as we were learning as we went. Nidhi did a great job asking questions if something wasn't adding up, instead of just doing what she was asked (which could have led to issues down the line).

I know this project did not always follow the clean lines of deliverables, and they are able to work with us to do great development work still.

I have no areas of concern, or need for improvement after my experience.

I’m the COO of a digital media network company. We have partners in the healthcare space that have web and mobile properties with healthcare-related content that targets physicians. We also sell ad space on those digital properties to pharmaceutical companies through their advertising agencies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Cloudcache Consulting Private Limited?

We had two consulting firms when I joined the company. I had a fair amount of experience in building Salesforce apps for businesses, so I knew that one of the consulting firms was horrible — I fired them. Meanwhile, we only had a junior-level specialist supporting our needs; I needed somebody who could do more. As a result, I engaged Cloudcache. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

In our first project with Cloudcache, we’ve built a Salesforce app that has a proposal request process and can leverage our products in our Salesforce server. No pre-made app can do this for us, so we’ve had to customize the program. The app also lets us customize how we use our products. Our team can add proposed products to Salesforce using the app. Once we win a deal, another team marks items as booked or lost. From there, we build our forecasts for the ads we’ll do. 

Essentially, we’ve used Salesforce as a booking system where we can see proposals, bookings, and revenue forecasts. I’ve also built an earned revenue object. Overall, Cloudcache and our team have built a dashboard where we can see everything we need without having to use offline materials or spreadsheets. 

From there, we’ve done many more projects. We’ve implemented ticketing systems for our reporting, analytics, and account management teams. Our teams are going to create another ticketing component for our ad operations team. On top of that, we’ve created sophisticated communications systems. For instance, we receive emails whenever we book a deal. The emails provide all the details surrounding the deal, and they’re only sent to users who need to see such information. 

We’re also integrating QuickBooks, ShareFile, Vonage, and Pardot into Salesforce. Overall, we’re doing a lot of things, and Cloudcache serves as our main resource for capacity and experience as we do these projects. 

What is the team composition?

I mainly talk with Vivek (Founder, Consultant & Architect), but I also talk with one other person from their team every once in a while. 

How did you come to work with Cloudcache Consulting Private Limited?

I went on Upwork and interviewed a few people, including Vivek. At that time, I simply knew he was the right person for the project. I did a walkthrough with them, and Cloudcache hit the ground running. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent more than $25,000; our average investment is about $4,000 per month. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve improved our on-time deliveries to our internal stakeholders by about 40%. On top of that, we deliver client reports on time with 100% accuracy. We’ve also reduced the amount of time needed to track and revise bookings and revenue because everything is in Salesforce now. Booking accuracy has also increased by at least 60%. 

Moreover, since we have a ShareFile integration now, we’ve also reduced our Salesforce docking and storage needs. We’re no longer loading documents up on Salesforce, so our costs have also been reduced. Overall, Cloudcache’s work has had a great positive impact on our business.

How did Cloudcache Consulting Private Limited perform from a project management standpoint?

Cloudcache’s project management has been great. In terms of tools, we’re using Quip by Saleforce. People can tag me there so I can understand their needs. Sometimes, the tags turn into projects. We’ve thought about using Asana, but Quip works well for us right now. To communicate, we use either Zoom or Teams. We’re also on Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Before Cloudcache does anything, they try to truly understand what we’re trying to accomplish. If I want to solve a problem, they work to understand that problem. If it’s a bigger request, they want to understand our workflow. In other words, they don’t just rush to do something and then redo it. 

Moreover, the team doesn’t go down any rabbit hole. They only do some of the work and then show me what it looks like so I can give my feedback. I love this iterative process — they don’t go so far down the lane that we’ll have to start over when something’s wrong. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can have better due diligence in terms of testing. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Communicate frequently with Cloudcache, and don’t hesitate to send reminders. They won’t hesitate to communicate with you when they want to understand something or when they want to schedule a quick call — constant communication is key. 

Our teams have a nine-hour time difference, and they make themselves available to me. However, I try to be cognizant and schedule anything before noon our time. Sometimes, I get on the phone early in the morning because I know it’s a more appropriate time for them. Overall, you need to be a little more flexible when working with them.
