What challenge were you trying to address with PwnSauce Designs?

I needed to increase my online presence through social media and a website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

When the engagement began, I gave the team materials to work with. PwnSauce Designs handles all my online marketing, managing my social media accounts, including promotions on Facebook. They also advise me on how to target the right audience. PwnSauce Designs built and designed my website as well.

What is the team composition?

Kevin (Full Stack Web Developer) is my only point of contact.

How did you come to work with PwnSauce Designs?

I found their ad on Craigslist. After speaking with Kevin, it was clear he had the experience and knowledge I needed for my project. Also, he was willing to meet in person, which I prefer.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve spent about $1,200 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in February 2020, and the collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Everything that happens on social media for me is thanks to PwnSauce Digital’s work. They’re very fast and produce high-quality deliverables. 

How did PwnSauce Designs perform from a project management standpoint?

Kevin performs very well. We have weekly in-person meetings, during which he always listens to my concerns and answers my questions. He always shows up on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Kevin is fast and honest. He doesn’t drag his feet, even though I pay by the hour. Experienced and knowledgeable, he’s taught and helped me a great deal. Before partnering with PwnSauce Designs, I had no idea how to do anything online, but I feel confident now. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I can think of.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t try to save money by finding the cheapest out there. Even if it costs more, it’s worth it to partner with PwnSauce Designs.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am co-owner and head of operations at the Rick Barda School of Music. We teach music composition online via skype to students all over the world and provide a consummate music education.

For what projects/services did your company hire PwnSauce Designs?

We had a website and really needed outside consultation for making the website's format responsive for all screen sizes, SEO, and to fix the functionality of the forms on the website.

What were your goals for this project?

To correct the format so the website was viewable across all computers and phones, to get the forms and tables functional, and to have great SEO for search engines.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I selected this vendor because after reading their ad I immediately realized they knew their stuff and that was the exactly what I was looking for.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The project entailed of fixing the formatting so the website would be viewable across all computers, phones, and tablets, which Kevin accomplished by moving things in the correct locations.

I also needed proper SEO so my website would come up in search engines. Kevin accomplished this by providing me a list of the top keywords pertinent to my field with the amount of views for each keyword, and how much competition there would be as well. From there, we selected the best fits for our business.

Lastly, I needed to get the forms working on the website and organized in a table format for me to export to a database. Kevin setup the forms so my partner and I receive an email for each submission with the option to export the data from the forms in a CSV file to our chosen database.

As far as I know, the team was composed of the founder; Kevin Keable.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This work done by pwnsauce designs will be monumental for us. We can now proceed with a fully functional website and begin advertising and receiving submissions for clients.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The management of the was detailed before we started and we were regularly in touch along every step of the way, making sure we were on the same page with the changes made. It was highly effective and more organized than my experience with previous vendors.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I found the turnaround and expertise to be impressive. Their ability to go above and beyond what was in our contract was quite substantial.
