For one of our Israeli based clients we were looking for Mobile dev team to build the mobile app and make it go to the production. The team was intent to build all the main features and functions and make sure the app is stable to being released.

After the 1st round of search and interviews we selected CiGen to move forward because of their established experience and focus on Xamarin app development. CiGen were able to present relevant portfolio of similar projects accomplished and 5 different experienced engineers to choose from.

The team had a series of discovery meetings, their first step was to research on possible stack, solutions and integrations. Key deliverables were: Creation of location module; Bus and stops module development; Video-calls functionality implementation. The team used Xamarin as their main technology. They managed to utilize the best and feasible engineering practices and UX approach to make sure the app is convenient for the sensitive user category it was created for.

The project management was handled by the client. They had daily calls, 2 weeks sprint plannings, task management was in Jira. Time reporting in Clockify.

Their software development skills were amazing! That was not only technical but also a cultural fit with the client! They communicated in loyal and assertive way. It was obvious that engineers like the project and idea a lot and they put much effort to make it live. All the parties were happy about communication style and performance speed.

The selection was made many years ago and it was based on a number of key factors. It is of utmost importance that we can work with a partner where we challenge each other to better results, this works great together with CiGen.

We are establishing three new solutions based on our platform. We at Kodexe carry out business development and set requirements. We then go through the documentation together with the CIGen, which manages the project with good project management and an experienced development team. We work according to an agile process that allows us to have full control while there is room for flexibility.
