I'm a CEO of Tatrahills shop from Kosice, Slovakia

For what projects/services did your company hire CENTAREA, and what were your goals?

The software had to offer the functionality for shoppers , warehouse staff and the client. The clients original e-store required constant support and had many problems resulting in the loss of customers

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After a thorough analysis of the app’s performance our team decided to create new server-less app with separate functionality to support the business-logic of shoppers and warehouses. This provided quicker support and more efficient sells over internet. In general we improved the apps by these criteria: ease to use, stability and prevention of the customers loss.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

They designed and developed a React-based business Ecommerce solution. We first started with a discovery workshop to go over our business challenges. Then, they gave us workflows and design mock-ups to approve before starting production. They completed the project in 8-week sprints, which allowed us to test functions and give feedback. The final product automated sells and generated revenue reports.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 2 people in the core team, including a project manager, a designer, and 1 senior developers. Other resources would come and go depending on the project needs.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to launch the project early, which was a major achievement for us. Within the first three months, the solution has reduced data entry errors by 70%. Their team performed so well that we decided to continue working with them to maintain the solution.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project management was great, especially compared to other vendors we've worked with. They regularly met deadlines, and we never had unexpected turnovers. We communicated through Telegram, Jira, and GitHub.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We had direct access to the whole team, which made it easier to communicate our ideas. Things can be lost in translation if you're only talking to a project manager.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While the quality of work was great, they could have been more diligent about documentation. I've told the project manager, and their team is working on this, now.
