I’m the owner of Tonight in Liverpool, which is a local tourism services website.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Candy Marketing?

We needed someone to rebuild and redesign our website, and Candy Marketing is helping us out with that.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Candy Marketing started with a wireframes mockup using Figma. This was how we were able to map out how the website and its UI would work. After that, they did the high-fidelity designs and also reworked our brand in terms of the color schemes and color palettes. When I signed it off, Candy Marketing moved onto the development phase using Joomla.

What is the team composition?

There were five people in total that I’ve worked with: the director, a designer, developers, and a content creator.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around £15,000–£16,000 (approximately $21,000–$22,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership began in October 2019. The website project was completed in February 2020 and launched a little while after that.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The design that Candy Marketing did was really fantastic and well-thought-out. I was very happy with it. They paid a lot of attention to the details and educated me on aspects of the design and the development.

How did Candy Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

The team used Asana and provided me with an account so I could see what they were up to with the project. We also used it to communicate and quickly upload documents that needed signing. They kept me updated through weekly video calls, which I thought was cool. 

Candy Marketing was pretty good from start to finish and I would definitely use their services again for future projects. They were very good at communication, unlike the previous design agencies I’ve worked with before. These guys were excellent. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Candy Marketing’s customer service was phenomenal. Any questions I had, they answered within a couple of hours. The actual outcome of the project was also something I was very proud of because the website looks great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. I could say that I wanted everything done faster, but it couldn’t have been done with a website project of that size.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would definitely recommend them to give Candy Marketing a call.
