I’m the owner of Besalb Moving & Transportation Company. We mostly do residential moves, but we’re slowly getting into transportation, deliveries, and commercial moves as well.

What challenge were you trying to address with Canadian Web Designs?

We needed someone to do web design and digital marketing for our transportation company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They did web design and the website, business cards, marketing, and Google advertising. They did some marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Kijiji, and some other websites as well.

What is the team composition?

I don’t know what their team looks like, but I know there are quite a few people. I have dealt with five or six people from their team from a variety of expertise. 

How did you come to work with Canadian Web Designs?

I found them through Kijiji. I gave them a call and spoke with the business owner himself, and I liked how he introduced himself. I went and Googled them and checked their reviews and that is what made me go with their company.

How much have you invested in them?

I’ve spent around $2,000–$3,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

I think it was at the beginning of July 2020, and I’m still working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It has only been a month, however, I’m happy. We’re a startup and people are getting to know us. The number of calls we have received and clients is pretty good as a startup. I’m very happy with the website.

How did Canadian Web Designs perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very quick to respond. They will get back to you as soon as possible. They respond to our emails, phone calls, text messages and they get in touch with us all the time and ask how things are going.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I haven’t looked for other providers because I’ve been happy with them from the beginning.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I hope they will continue on the way they have been. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Follow their instructions. They’re good at what they do in terms of designs and marketing, so just follow their advice. I would suggest them to other people and I have already recommended them to a few of my friends as well.

I wanted to make my blog a bit more modern and having it more user friendly.

They revamped my blog, in terms of its design. It didn’t have too much to do with the content, since I write everything.

I found them via a Google search and I chose them because they had a lot of good reviews.

I’ve spent $200–$400 CAD (approximately $150–$300 USD).

We started working together in September 2019, and their work is ongoing with maintenance.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They did a really great job with the revamp and listened to everything that I wanted. I wanted a modern look to my blog and they made sure it did the job.

How did Canadian Web Designs perform from a project management standpoint?

Our developer was always on top of the deadlines that I wanted for the site. Our project manager made sure everyone was aligned as well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their constant communication was excellent. They were very quick to make sure everything was up and running and were very quick to address any of the concerns I had.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes the website isn’t meeting the requirements I need but they always go back and address any errors.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to have a plan beforehand and to make sure things are as detailed as possible. It helped me to give them my plan on the first step so they could start working off that first.
