We're the leading e-commerce marketplace for premium cannabis products, standing up many of the top emerging and consistent brands in Northern CA and across the state, since 2015.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire CamelWeb to accomplish? We decided to migrate our site from a cannabis-specific ecom platform to Magento 2, in order to take advantage of the many functions and customizations that Magento offers. Because of the regulations surrounding cannabis, this is an extremely specific, customized project. We originally hired a different set of developers, who weren’t up to the complex demands of our project.

Because Camelweb came onto our project after the migration had already taken place, the first step was to identify and document all the issues we were experiencing. The integrations that our previous developers had put in place needed significant review and revision, including developing an alternative to the Mageplaza module that had been installed to edit orders.
Camelweb was able to replace this with a Mageworx module, which has drastically improved our customer service and decreased the amount of time spent on investigating issues. Because our orders are placed online and then delivered to customers, Camelweb had to integrate the Mageworx module with OnFleet and Stronghold. They also integrated Berbix ID verification and Klaviyo. Staylime’s design team has revised our product pages to our specifications, both for desktop and mobile, and will soon do the same for our brand pages.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our team is now able to use our website in the way that we intended to when we made the switch to Magento. There’s still more work to be done, but I have every confidence that Camelweb will handle it effectively. Their Magento expertise has strengthened our business.

We communicate with Camelweb primarily through our Project Manager, via Slack and Asana. Communication is both friendly and clear—something of a rarity. Communication has been an issue we’ve had with other developers.

Camelweb team is incredibly easy to work with. Our PM, Andrew, is a truly delightful colleague. Though, of course, there have been times when the project was frustrating, Andrew’s professionalism and courtesy never wavered. Because of the transparency of communication, we feel that we’re in good hands with Camelweb, and we anticipate working with them for a long time to come!
