Chris Thomas, our founder and CEO, worked as the driving force behind shoe retailer Cloggs until it was acquired by JD Sports in 2013. 3 years later, Cake Agency was born.

Since then, we’ve grown to be the 25+ strong ecommerce agency team we are today.

Cake Agency was founded in 2016 by the former owner of Cloggs.com, Chris Thomas and the co-founder of Harper and Lewis, Cheryl Thomas. It’s this experience working directly as retailers that informs everything we do - we’ve quite literally been there and done that.

Yes! Whilst we find working with brands for multiple years to be the most rewarding kind of partnership, we’re more than happy to work with brands no matter what their needs might be. Regardless of if your brand is only looking for assistance migrating to Shopify from another ecommerce platform, is looking for a brand or website uplift, or needs guidance with running an individual marketing campaign, we’d be more than happy to help you with your project.
