Cache Valley Systems is a software development and business systems company based in Logan, Utah. We help organizations fix broken processes, replace disconnected tools, reduce repetitive manual work, improve operational visibility, and build technology around the way the business actually runs. Rather than forcing a company into a generic platform, we study the people, workflows, records, handoffs, and decisions behind the work, then design the right system around them. Our seven core service areas are custom software; CRM and business systems; AI and automation; websites; data and intelligence; integrations and APIs; and legacy modernization. We build custom applications, internal tools, customer and employee portals, SaaS platforms, operational CRM systems, quoting, scheduling and inventory tools, dashboards, reporting environments, web and mobile experiences, APIs, integrations, and staged rebuilds of inherited software. Engagements begin with discovery. We map how work moves through the organization, identify bottlenecks and duplicate effort, determine what should be automated, and decide what should be built, integrated, modernized, or left alone. The result may be one focused tool or a connected operating system linking sales, operations, delivery, finance, service, and leadership reporting. AI is used where it adds practical value, with human review and role-aware access. Cache Valley Systems works best with businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets, one-size-fits-all software, isolated data, and fragile handoffs between teams. We serve organizations throughout Cache Valley and Utah from our staffed Logan office, and we collaborate with companies across the United States through structured remote discovery and delivery. Every engagement is shaped around the organization, its users, existing systems, and the outcomes the technology needs to support. Bring us the business problem. If technology can solve it, we can help build the right answer.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Cache Valley Systems worked with us to evaluate our existing operations and identify areas where custom software and automation could eliminate manual work and connect processes that were spread across different systems.
The project included designing and developing a centralized custom software platform around our existing workflows. They built a custom CRM for managing customers, sales activity, follow-ups, and account information, while also improving how we handled inventory and order-related processes.
A major part of the engagement involved business process automation. They automated repetitive administrative workflows, reduced duplicate data entry, and connected several parts of our operation so information could move between systems without employees having to manually update everything.
Key deliverables included:
- A centralized custom business software platform - Custom CRM development for sales and customer management - Inventory and order management functionality - Automated workflows and internal business processes - Real-time operational dashboards and reporting - Integrations between existing software and internal systems
They also spent time understanding how each part of our company operated before developing the system. As the project progressed, they identified additional processes that could be automated or improved and incorporated those opportunities into the platform.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The biggest measurable outcome was the reduction in manual work across our business. Cache Valley Systems consolidated several disconnected workflows into one system, replaced spreadsheet-based processes, automated recurring follow-ups and data entry, and reduced the number of steps required to manage customers, orders, and inventory.
We also gained real-time visibility into sales, customer activity, inventory, and overall operations through custom dashboards and reporting. Processes that previously required employees to manually move information between different systems are now handled automatically.
As a result, our team spends significantly less time on repetitive administrative work, workflows move faster, information is more organized, and there are fewer opportunities for manual errors. The new system has also given us a much more scalable operational foundation as the company continues to grow.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Their project management was excellent. They kept the project organized, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and consistently delivered work on time. We always knew what was being worked on, what was coming next, and where the project stood.
They were also very responsive to our needs. Whenever we had a question, requested a change, or identified a new problem we wanted to solve, they were quick to understand it and come back with a solution. They were flexible as our needs evolved and were proactive about suggesting improvements we had not originally considered.
Overall, the process felt very collaborative. They took feedback seriously, communicated well, and made sure what they were building actually worked for the way our team operates.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed us most was their ability to understand the business beyond just the software we initially asked for. They took the time to learn how our team actually worked, identified inefficiencies we had become used to, and consistently found ways to improve or automate them.
A lot of the solutions they built were things we did not even know were possible before working with them. Instead of simply taking instructions and developing exactly what we requested, they looked at the bigger picture and recommended better ways to structure processes, connect systems, and use technology throughout the company.
That combination of technical ability and business understanding was what made them stand out the most.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Cache Valley Systems could have done differently?

Our Story
Cache Valley Systems is a six-person team built around two complementary disciplines: understanding how a business actually works and engineering the systems that support it. Co-founders Taylor Moses and Jamison Dyal lead strategy, discovery, architecture, integration, and delivery. The team replaces fragmented tools and manual handoffs with connected software designed around each client’s real workflows.
What Sets Us Apart
Systems shaped around real operations
We begin with the people, handoffs, decisions, exceptions, and evidence behind the work, then design software that supports the operation instead of forcing a generic process.
Connected systems, not isolated features
We connect workflows, data, integrations, dashboards, and role-specific tools so context and ownership can move across the business.
Founder-led accountability
Both co-founders remain involved across discovery, solution planning, architecture, integration, and technical delivery.
