I’m the founder and CEO of Frogit, a fitness company. We connect users with local sports games, courts, and players, making it easy to find, join, and book matches or facilities quickly.

We needed help with mobile app development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Buoyancy Software LLP was responsible for the entire project. They created a cross-platform (Android & iOS) app for us, along with an admin panel that was deeply integrated with the apps. The team was entirely responsible for the project architecture, user flow, tech stack decisions, and project management. We only presented an idea, and they brought it to life.Regarding features, the app had payment gateways, user profile views, maps with locations, a business portal for bookings, in-app chat, and in-app photo-sharing features. Overall, the app was a full-fledged social media platform with sports venue booking features (with dynamic pricing), physical resource pooling, and deep AI integration for lazy loading and venue discovery.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re currently crossing 1,200 users and 80 venue owners. We’ve also noticed a heavy cost reduction in backend costs. The team has provided the most cut-throat setup for Azure, focusing on costs and scaling needs for the future.

How did Buoyancy Software LLP perform from a project management standpoint?

The founder sat in every meeting and proactively approached us for concerns and if something needed our attention. The engineers were also really nice in explaining the issues in detail. Our primary form of communication was virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by how aggressively focused and skilled the team was. Since we had a spike in users, and due to the time difference between India and Australia, the engineer stayed up all night monitoring the system.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, this was our first major product, and we only knew 50% of what we wanted. Buoyancy Software LLP was kind enough to teach us what was possible and if there was anything we should be on alert about. The engineers also trained my staff on how to use the backend and explained the job of every skill tool in the whole ecosystem so we wouldn’t have to depend on them entirely post-service period.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

So far, the project has been successful, and we’ve kept them on contract for service and maintenance of the whole system.
