I'm the CEO of an IT consulting company based in the UK.

What challenges were you trying to address with Buildverse?

We asked them to create a mobile application for us to compare cloud platform pricing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Buildverse Pte. Ltd. built a mobile application from scratch and was in charge of frontend design and API integration so the app could download data from the cloud sites. They used the latest technologies, including React, and DCP technologies, among others.

One of the things we were looking to solve was how to know the latest comparable prices on the three biggest public clouds. Buildverse took this information and, from then on, managed everything from planning to design to development and testing. 

What was the team composition?

I worked with Abhinav (CEO), and he had a team of developers, although I didn't interact with them.

How did you come to work with Buildverse?

Someone referred them to us, I reached out to them along with other vendors, and we finally decided to work with them because of their pricing and portfolio.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent about $20,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March–June 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They created a high-quality UI. The overall solidness of the application was great.

How did Buildverse perform from a project management standpoint?

They stayed on budget and stuck to the timeline. Regarding tools, we used Jira and Trello for project management, and we communicated mostly via Google Meet and phone calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The main things that distinguish them from other service providers are their constant involvement, vision, and the quality of people they have.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on; they were more expensive than other service providers, but the quality of their work was higher, so I can't say anything negative.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a very clear business picture of what it is that you want to achieve and what your goals are. If you have that ready, they'll do a good job converting that into business tools and technology solutions.
