Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm a co-founder of BOON Rewards Inc., an online to offline marketing company that guarantees return on ad spend. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Buildable?

We hired them to work on a web app development project, building out our internal referral program platform. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Buildable is developing a web app, using React and Node.js that automates a referral program for consumers. They're working with a parent company who's developing the core technology, while Buildable's team is building other features and acting as our CTO. 

What is the team composition? 

We work with one main project manager.

How did you come to work with Buildable?

An acquaintance introduced us and we were immediately comfortable communicating with them and felt they thoroughly grasped our needs. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working together since October 2017 and expect to wrap up most of the work in July 2019. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They've been great to work overall. They're organized, proactive, and add a lot of value. 

How did Buildable perform from a project management standpoint?

They've been phenomenal. They track progress using monday, which allows us to follow the details of each sprint and provide feedback easily. Whenever we reach out for more clarity on something, they're always quick to respond and answer any questions. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

In addition to their superior communication skills, they also select technologies that take scalability and future development work into account. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. They've been great in every aspect. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I just recommend shopping around and making sure the development shop selected is not only qualified for the job, but also a good cultural fit.
