I work primarily with small business owners and operators - typically 1 to 50 employees - who are navigating operational challenges, technology decisions, or business transitions. Most clients fall into one of three situations: they're running a business that works but has outgrown its systems, they're facing a change they didn't plan for and need outside perspective, or they're ready to introduce technology but aren't sure where to start or what to trust. Industry isn't the primary filter. I've worked across retail, franchise operations, professional services, and consulting practices. What matters more is whether the owner is ready to look honestly at how the business actually operates - not how they think it operates - and make decisions from that foundation. Most clients are in South Jersey or the greater Philadelphia region, though I work with clients nationally for strategy, AI consulting, and systems work that doesn't require an on-site presence.

Strategy engagements start at $500. A free 30-minute consultation is available first to assess fit, clarify scope, and make sure the engagement makes sense before any financial commitment is made. Most projects range from $500 to $2,500 depending on complexity, depth of assessment required, and whether implementation support is included. Larger or ongoing engagements are scoped individually. I don't offer retainer packages that pad hours. Engagements are structured around a defined outcome - what needs to be understood, decided, or built - and priced accordingly. Both, depending on what the engagement requires. Most strategy, AI consulting, and systems work happens remotely through video calls and collaborative tools. This works well for clients who are time-constrained or outside the immediate South Jersey area, and it doesn't reduce the quality of the work. For clients in South Jersey and the greater Philadelphia region, in-person meetings are available when the situation calls for it - particularly during initial discovery, working sessions that benefit from being in the room, or operational assessments where seeing the business firsthand matters. I'm based in Vineland, NJ and regularly work throughout Cumberland County, South Jersey, and the Philadelphia metro. If you're outside that geography, remote engagement is the standard path and works well for most of what I do.

Most AI consultants come from a technology background. I come from 20+ years inside real businesses - starting on the floor of a retail operation, moving through multi-unit franchise management across inner-city Philadelphia, suburban New Jersey, and rural markets, and spending the last decade in small business consulting focused on operations, strategy, and now AI implementation. That background changes how I approach AI consulting. I'm not selling a tool or a platform. I'm helping business owners understand where AI genuinely reduces friction, where it introduces risk they haven't considered, and how to implement it in a way that doesn't compromise the judgment, identity, or trust they've built. I've been working with large language models since 2022 - not as a user, but as a practitioner. I hold a Google Certified Generative AI Leader credential. I understand the technology at a level that lets me translate it into plain language and practical decisions for owners who don't have time to figure it out themselves. The result is AI implementation that actually holds up - because it was built around the business, not around the technology.
