Build was leveraged by the Azure field team within Microsoft Canada to be a set of key delivery partners to do a campaign across multiple industries (like manufacturing) to accelerate the digital transformation agendas from our customers, accelerate the Azure growth within Canada and the U.S. and establish themselves as a trusted partner in the ecosystem to continue the cloud journey beyond just lift & shift migrations into the modernization journey.
Their key deliverables were measured in the amount of Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) - which is a Microsoft key metric - resulted from their engagements and growth beyond that baseline. Additional key deliverables for Build (like any other Microsoft partner) were the identification of new leads and qualified opportunities to pursue and grow the customer business.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Azure Consumed Revenue (ACR) grew based on Build’s engagement. They did not only executed the migration and modernization engagement on time but their executive engagement and relationship management allowed them to establish themselves as trusted partners within our customers becoming effectively an extension of the Microsoft sales team within our customers.
Customer satisfaction increased as well and the amount of resources allocated from the Microsoft Global Partner Solutions (GPS) also improved significantly.

Their project management was very professional and kept a clear communication across all stakeholders. From regular governance updates to high priority escalations. Build was always open to listen to both Microsoft and the customer and adapt accordingly with a customer centricity approach.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Build With Assembly's technical capabilities and hunger to move fast and get things done were impressive. Their consulting bench is balanced across senior people with experience in enterprise environments and younger people with cloud native skills. Their executive and sales team were very approachable and easy to deal with.
Their company culture was being agile and show value to customers so they could focus on other business priorities - this culture and values alignment matched easily with Microsoft’s and allowed an easier engagement. Large partners move slowly, are more complex and introduce a lot of red tape. Build did not, they were in the “getting stuff done” business.

The IT industry moves fast and is in a constant innovation pace. Build can always look at the technology trends like AI, Cybersecurity and Process Automation to be proactively ready to anticipate and identify opportunities.
