I’m the founder of Woven&Co. We’re a creative collective focused on the digital innovation industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Boron Studio?

We were looking for a powerful design and development partner to build a website for one of our clients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Boron Studio is our development partner. Our first project involved them building an internal-facing site for our client. After helping us finalize the project plan, the team then moved on to the development process.

We go to them every time we have a development project. The process is pretty much the same each time.

What is the team composition?

We work with the four co-founders: Augustin (UX Lead), Bruno (Art Director), Ignacio (Sales Consultant), and Ismael (Lead Developer).

How did you come to work with Boron Studio?

We had worked with Boron Studio on a previous project. They actually built our company’s website, and they were super professional throughout the process. 

Their work was also solid, so when this opportunity came, it was a no-brainer.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in July 2021, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our client is thrilled with Boron Studio’s work. They’re super impressed by the functional and well-designed website.

How did Boron Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is beyond my wildest dreams. In terms of their processes, everything’s pretty streamlined. 

The Boron Studio team checks in with us daily, and we appreciate how hands-on they are. We communicate via Slack, email, and Google Meet. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

There are a lot of agencies that do similar work, but Boron Studio offers the best overall experience. They’re nimble and honest, and their design sensibilities are remarkable. We’ve gotten excellent deliverables at a very affordable price.

Boron Studio has also been very hands-on from the beginning — the team truly wants to help and guide us through the process. We appreciate their help in painting a clear picture of the project timeline.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about them. I’m usually a critical person, but Boron Studio is truly the best fit for us. If we had to do it all over, I’d choose them again in a heartbeat.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Let them do their thing, and don’t stand in the way of their creativity and innovation.

I am a Postproducer-Editor for CAFFEINE POST based in Mexico City & New York City. We are a creative post-production studio that reimagines storytelling across advertising, fashion, film & TV.

Our Webpage needed a complete redesign. At that moment we found BORON STUDIO, and we felt it was a match between their design aesthetic and what we were looking for. Our first meeting with BORON STUDIO was great, they really got what we were aiming to achieve with our site.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked at a lot of different design studios for our site. We then found BORON STUDIO and at first glance, we loved their work. We wanted a custom webpage, with a subtle design, minimalist and user friendly.

Boron was great about understanding our needs, style and references, and using that to not only deliver a great site, but also optimize it with their own suggestions and expertise.

In total, we worked with 3 different people, a designer, art director and project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design of the webpage was very nice and functional in computer format.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. They always followed the timeline and fulfilled our requests.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most important thing to take out of the experience was the excellent attention, service, and design skills.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think an area of opportunity is the codification of the mobile version.

DondeReciclo.uy is a project ongoing since 2013 and in 2020 we worked on a full overhaul with Boron.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We’ve been working and collaborating with Boron for many years, being one of their first clients. And we always have received more than what we expected consistently throughout that time.

The project involves a website and mobile app that required responsive design and displaying a high density of information in an orderly and attractive manner. Boron collaborated with us from the information architecture phase, through UI/UX, web design and even branding.

Two people were involved in UI/UX and design roles.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The renovation was a tremendous success, with annual sessions growing over 1000%.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Absolutely fantastic. We are able to work just as fluidly as with internal resources.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Fast an comprehensive understanding of our needs, up to date with trends and emerging web technologies, quick response and flexibility.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

When improvements were needed, feedback was always welcome and workflows improved.

We worked with Born for 5 different sites. 3 for the main brand and 2 other business units. We didnt have a website or what we had was complete obsolete. We needed a new online presence for the different business units

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had interviews with different vendors. We selected Boron because of what they offered, their experience and budget.

We had kick off meetings for each project. Algo current meetings to discuss about how all was going. The developed in three big steps: wireframes, design and development. In every steps we could asked them all the doubts we had.

We worked with 4 different people, including ux lead, sales consultant. lead developer and art director.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our digital presence improved a lot. We could generate a tool also for internal and external customers (employees and clients).

We use spreedshits and trello. Also email.

One of the things i like the most is how theyr commit with the projects and add extra value to the ideas we had. It has been very easy to talk to them .

We hire Boron for the development from scratch. From backend, to frontend and web design.

We selected for the good understanding of what our vision for the platform was and the great works they already did with other platforms.

Meetings for understanding the product. Later the first sketchs and then design. After that the whole project goes to development, then testing and then you go online with the hole update.

We worked with primary 3 departments, the project management, UI/UI design, and technical development.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We sold in our first months more than a thousand therapy sessions with our new platform.

Great communication with different mails and marvelapp web to see the sketchs and design pre-development.

The attention to details and good communication are impressive. Also the great designs and creativeness.
