I’m the owner of a family-owned business in Philadelphia. We serve automobiles by doing alignment, breaks, oil changes, tires, and inspections.

What challenge were you trying to address with Boost Web Studio?

We needed help with web design and development. We’ve been in business for over 20 years, and we didn’t have a website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially did a Zoom call with Boost Web Studio to go over the details of what we wanted our website to look like. They’ve built our website so our customers can order from our stores. Also, the site allows clients to see the services we’re offering that day and schedule an appointment for those particular services.

Boost Web Studios does all the hosting and maintenance. If we need to change anything, we just have to make a quick phone call or send an email.

We’ve worked with a project manager and a designer.

We’ve spent less than $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2019, and our relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been noticed by Yelp thanks to the site, which has increased our traffic and sales. Moreover, having a website is rare for a small business, so customers come here and tell us how much they love the site.

How did Boost Web Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

They send a calendar, and we can choose the day that’s more convenient for us. Since we set up the appointments, they adjust to our timeline. Also, they accommodate everyone that needs to be on the call.

We typically communicate through phone calls, emails, and Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Boost Web Studio is affordable, and they give us what we need. We might want the world, but they know what works and doesn’t. They’ve made suggestions that have increased our sales and guided us, especially since we’d never had a website. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have anything off the top of my head.

Come prepared with any questions you might have; they’ll answer them. If you’re looking into getting a website, you should start by asking what works in your particular market.
