Jasmine Palace
Bluescope was approached by Jasmine Palace in January 2019 to discuss the website redesign project for their restaurant, jasminepalace.ie. Jasmine Palace’s existing site structure was on WordPress CMS but was unfortunately not mobile-friendly, which was a pain point when displaying food menus online. Although they regularly updated their PDF menu documents on the website, the website itself was not suitable towards mobile users – which coincidentally happened to account for almost 80% of their overall website traffic.
Additionally, the existing website offered the availability to purchase gift vouchers, however this was completed via a sub-domain – which meant that users had to leave jasminepalace.ie to complete their order. Although not impractical, it was more suited to have this e-commerce functionality integrated within the existing site structure.
Bluescope began website development in mid-January 2019 and the website was completed mid-March 2019.

Luxury Design Floors
Luxury Design Floors previously operated a WordPress website for a number of years. Although this website was fully functional, it lacked maintenance and was unfortunately not mobile-friendly. A portion of the website was also built on the programming language, Java, which is deemed to be a security risk over the last few years.
Bluescope worked closely together with Luxury Design Floors to create and implement a brand new website, created using the CMS Joomla. What was once a very large website, with numerous duplicate pages and many orphan web pages that were not linked via any menu structure, has been condensed into an organised multi-page website. Users can now find the information they are looking for in only one to three clicks upon landing on the website through clear menu navigation.
Luxury Design Floors’ newly redesigned website gives them the platform to showcase their portfolio including past and future flooring projects as well as gain customer leads through online enquiry forms placed throughout the website.

ProLab
Bluescope first met with ProLab in October 2018 to discuss the creation of a website with e-commerce functionality. This website was to be created with the purpose of selling high-quality prints and canvases to their photographer customers, at competitive prices.
After much discussion of the specifications ProLab were looking for, we got straight to work on creating a mobile-friendly, e-commerce website in which pricing or the ability to purchase products would not be available to the public, prior to registering for an online account with ProLab. As ProLab caters exclusively to photographers, the option to accept or deny new registrations was enabled across the website.
Once a new user’s registration request was accepted, they could log into the site with an auto-generated secure password and they could then purchase prints and canvases through the website. Once a new user has purchased their x amount of prints/canvases, the option to upload their specified artwork would appear. As a photographer’s artwork can be of very highly quality, we have set the maximum upload size to 2048mb. In the backend of the website, ProLab can download a .zip file of the images to be printed and dispatch accordingly.

St. Mary's National School
Bluescope was approached to develop a website for St. Mary’s National School, Croom, in December 2018. Although CroomNS.ie was already being operated by members of St. Mary’s National School, the website structure showed limited capabilities for the ever-increasing content that needed to be uploaded.
To ensure that users of the Croom NS website could still find the information they were looking for, Bluescope got to work on developing a website, built on WordPress CMS, that would display all necessary components, new and old, in a clear format.
As Croom NS was already using the WordPress platform to display content across the website, Bluescope was able to migrate this data to a new staging website where it could be cleaned up and organised into a cleaner site structure. Bluescope worked closely with St. Mary’s National School to develop this new website and its components.
Bluescope began website development in January 2019 and the website was completed in May 2019.

PAUL Partnership
Bluescope was approached by PAUL Partnership in January 2019 to discuss the redevelopment of their website, paulpartnership.ie. PAUL Partnership’s existing site structure was built on WordPress CMS but required a revamp. Many of the pages created throughout the years were orphan pages in which they were not linked through the main navigation structure. Additionally, the main menu navigation had become slightly cluttered and needed to be condensed.
Over the course of five months, the existing PAUL Partnership website remained live while we developed their new website in a staging environment. As the existing website was built on WordPress CMS, we were able to migrate all data to the staging website, ready to organise and edit.
Prior to commencing work on the new website, analytics indicated that 50% of users accessed the website on a mobile device, therefore it was increasingly important to create a fully mobile-responsive website. By working closely with the PAUL Partnership team, we were able to create a website tailored to their needs while keeping mobile functionality in mind.

Mid-West Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association
Mid-West Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association’s previous website was built on a now outdated version of Joomla, which added potential security concerns.
The option to migrate from Joomla to WordPress was decided due to WordPress’s more native user-friendly interface and advanced security plugins. The existing ‘boxed-style’ website was converted to a full-width design, respinsive on all Grade A browsers, across all devices.
Several pages that were restructured contained a high organic ranking on popular Search Engines; as a result of this, redirects were put in place to ensure the rank is kept. Furthermore, sitemaps were submitted to popular search engines, which now display a more organised menu structure.
Our end-game of growing brand awareness and increasing the distribution of latest news and publications to end users was achieved, and Spina Bifida are now able to focus on other ongoing projects without worrying about their website.
