Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO, of Luxlock a Unified Experience Commerce Platform. We sell our software to luxury brands and provide clients with online services and CRM customer data.

For what projects/services did your company hire ledgr.?

We needed additional research to select a blockchain that would best power our immediate business objectives while still being able to leverage key technology decisions to grow with web3 integration partners and accommodate our Metaverse and NFT utility roadmap.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We needed a specialist with expertise in NFT utility, self-custodial solutions, and knew they could translate and understand our use case in omni-channel commerce and supply chain.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

They provided technical support for Luxlock and our partners for the first industry physical/web3 experiential fashion event. They advised and researched our unique use cases to guide our project scope and third party vendor selection process. They built out our activation workflow and partnered with our launch strategy. Ledgr lead our marketplace and finessed our NFT utility and addressed compliance requirements.

They were instrumental when creating our customer journey for first-time crypto users and integrating the New York Resident wallet funding requirements to create a seamless consumer experience. Created a custom consumer activation site and onboarding strategy for first time crypto users and wallet address acquisition and provided white-glove services to our VIP attendees. They followed through the project,

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with CEO as our main point of contact as well as the Chief Creative Officer through the implementation of the product and activation programming.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our event was the first phygital runway show that was taking place simultaneously in person and Decentraland with AR wearables and NFT ticketing. Ledgr really helped us pull these worlds together and streamline the technology so it was simple for the 100+ attendees.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We worked directly with the CEO because of his specific knowledge in retail and supply chain, a rare skill in the blockchain/web3 space. Because of that there was more relay between teams to translate. However, everything has been swift, and they have never dropped the ball.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They broke down complex technical infrastructure decisions into a digestible selection process that our non-technical team members could build a strategy around and successfully execute against. The communication process is a superpower.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Going forward, leveraging a project management system would be helpful to keep the teams looped in now that they understand the use case.

I'm the chief customer officer at Luxlock, a commerce enablement tool. We sell our software to luxury brands and provide clients with online services and CRM customer data.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with ledgr.?

We were working on a web3-enabled fashion experience event in partnership with a luxury fashion brand. We wanted to educate our customer base on how to best create and use a crypto-wallet, so we decided to hire a company that could help us develop an interactive tool for NFT drops.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ledgr. developed a live, interactive, educational tool to help educate our guests on how to create and use crypto-wallets. They did all of the research to determine what would be the right route to take for this project, including which crypto-wallet to use. They then produced an educational sub-site to help us continue to grow and build our VIP network of customers.

Additionally, they’ve created a private marketplace to host our wearable NFTs. They’re still continuing to do research for us based on our use cases to help us support other organizations.

We’ve worked directly with Damien (Co-Founder).

How did you come to work with ledgr.?

Our founder has known Damien for a long time.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were able to get over 80 of our guests to create a crypto-wallet,  and all of the new crypto-wallets that were created and shared with us have now been received. We’ve also had about a dozen or so people reach out to us for one-on-one phone calls to get some additional education for themselves.

Aside from that, we now have over 1,700 NFTs of wearable fashion products on our marketplace.

How did ledgr. perform from a project management standpoint?

ledgr. has performed incredibly well in terms of project management. They moved at the speed of light — it’s amazing how quickly they were able to execute all of our specific needs and requests. We also made some changes and shifted some of the processes around the last minute before the event, and they were still able to get everything done overnight.

We primarily communicate through email, discord, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re most impressed with ledgr.’s ability to really focus on the specific problem that we were trying to solve very quickly. They were also very transparent from the start about how ambitious this project was going to be. We appreciated how they broke everything down into really small, easily-digestible steps for us.

Overall, they’ve been a dream to work with. Collaborating can be a challenge, but they’re really open and receptive to our feedback.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would have been amazing if I had one of them at our event in person, but being able to chat with them in real-time during the event was the next best thing.
