Black Sigma Technologies Ltd was hired to design and develop a functional MVP for an AI-powered Customer Engagement and Upselling platform. This included creating a user-friendly interface with VueJS and a scalable backend with NodeJS and Django for data management, integrated with Amazon's framework for hosting and scalability. Key deliverables included:

1. Product Design and Architecture: Design mockups, wireframes, and a technical architecture plan.
   Front-End and Back-End Development:
2. Responsive UI, customizable chatbot interface, user management, and recommendation algorithms.
3.  AI Integration: Sentiment analysis, product recommendation engine, and natural language processing for chatbot interactions.
4. Testing and Deployment: Functional and load testing, deployment on cloud, and documentation.                                                                                                                   Additional integrations included third-party analytics and APIs for e-commerce and messaging platforms, along with a real-time analytics dashboard for monitoring customer engagement.

What challenges were you trying to address with Black Sigma Technologies Ltd?

We needed help with custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Black Sigma Technologies did custom development work for us to connect a website and some Google Workspace components. We had two different sets of Google Slides that needed to be automated and combined into a single slide.

We initially had an introductory call with the team responsible for making this automation. Then, Black Sigma Technologies came back with a more solid proposal that detailed the items that would be custom-created for exactly what we wanted. After that, the team provided us with an invoice to initiate the project. As for the technology stack, the team used PHP, Python, and Java.

What was the team composition? 

We worked with at least three teammates from Black Sigma Technologies, including a project manager and a developer.

How did you come to work with Black Sigma Technologies Ltd?

I met their CEO at a conference. Still, we shopped around and received several proposals, and Black Sigma Technologies' proposal was the best. The team communicated the best and had the best prices.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $4,500.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August–September 2024. The project took about four weeks.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Black Sigma Technologies's work saved us time. If we had to do this on our own, it would have taken us months or years to figure out what we needed to do. The team created a system that automated our entire process and helped us expand what we were doing. The quality of their work was above and beyond our expectations.

How did Black Sigma Technologies Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

Black Sigma Technologies delivered the work on time and within budget. We communicated via email and phone calls. I'm not sure about other tools they could have used behind the scenes, though.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review? 

We'd like to give a shout-out to Vauyani, the CEO. He over-communicated in a great way, so we never had to ask any questions. He was always proactive in communicating with us, and his team was great. He did such a good job of leading the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Overall, Black Sigma Technologies did a great job for us.
