I’m trying to increase social media engagement on my platform through marketing. I also wanted to draw more traffic to my YouTube channel.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team is creating marketing promotions and campaigns, assisting with website maintenance, and helping with my Instagram. Their promotions are targeted through my website, where they assisted with branding, content creation, and logo design services. On the YouTube side, they edit and upload my videos there weekly.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with three people from their team. One person manages the YouTube side, another person helps with Instagram, and another person works on the website side.

How did you come to work with Base 2 Brand?

I found them through Upwork. I had a previous vendor, but I wasn’t happy with their services. Base 2 Brand had comparable prices and offered services that my previous company didn’t cover.

From a project management standpoint, they’re pretty good. We speak through WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re easy to communicate with. I can speak directly to the person that’s dealing with a certain task. Having that direct contact makes updates and changes less time-consuming.

They could be a bit more proactive. They could take more initiative by suggesting more areas that could be helpful to build what we’re trying to achieve.

Be very clear with what you’re after. Set targets initially to make sure everything will work out for them.

Base 2 Brand delivered the website on time. SEO takes time, and we just launched the website. However, according to our Google analytics, our traffic has increased and more people have found the website. Additionally, I used Yoast to review the SEO, and Base 2 Brand was in compliance with those guidelines.

I managed the project through Asana. We also used Skype and had Zoom meetings once a week. Base 2 Brand’s team was very communicative and easy to reach. They provided clear instructions and worked accordingly. Furthermore, they worked with me when something needed to be changed.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciated that we collaborated as a team and that every member is a specialist in their area. They were flexible.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Base 2 Brand did a great job. However, they could’ve asked me more questions to understand the project clearly and avoid meeting again or going back and forth.

Any advice for potential customers?

I recommend meeting with Base 2 Brand once a week early in the morning because they work in different time zones. Being understanding and flexible will benefit future clients greatly.
